Por FactBox Admin

The FPS Finance is launching a large public recruitment campaign by opening eight A2-level comparative selections for data, tax, and economic profiles. The official notices are published in the Belgian Official Gazette of August 28, 2026, pages 47195 to 47197.

These selections are organized by the FPS Strategy and Support (FPS BOSA), the federal administration responsible for recruitment for the Belgian civil service. Each notice specifies a distinct selection number, an official reference number, and the conditions for participation, with applications open to both French-speakers and Dutch-speakers.

Data profiles at the heart of modernization

Several selections aim to strengthen the digital and analytical skills of the tax administration:

  • Data Engineers (French-speaking) — selection AFG26127, reference [2026/202173]
  • Data scientists (Dutch-speaking) — selection ANG26252 / AFG26194, reference [2026/202128]
  • Analytics Translators (Dutch-speaking) — selection ANG26161, reference [2026/202180]
  • Business analysts (Dutch-speaking) — selection ANG26156 / AFG26112, reference [2026/202163]

  • Tax experts (Dutch-speaking) — selection ANG26168, reference [2026/202200]

Application procedures

Applications are open from August 28, 2026, to September 14, 2026 inclusive, exclusively online via the official portals www.travaillerpour.be and www.werkenvoor.be. The detailed description of each function (job content, participation conditions, selection procedure) is available from FPS BOSA by entering the selection number in the search engine.

At the end of each selection, a list of successful candidates valid for one year will be established. A specific list, valid for four years, is also created for persons with disabilities who have passed the selection.

This campaign illustrates the determination of the FPS Finance to modernize its teams by attracting technical and specialized profiles, while offering French- and Dutch-speaking candidates public employment opportunities in high-demand professions. The successful candidates will join an administration in the midst of a digital transformation, where data and tax skills have become strategic.
