The Territorial Labor Office of the Territorial Delegation of the Junta de Castilla y León in Soria has ordered the registration and publication of the Provincial Collective Agreement for the Iron and Steel Sector of the province of Soria 2026-2028, by resolution of August 21, 2026. The text, signed on July 15, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Soria number 99, dated August 26, 2026, and will govern the labor conditions of the metal sector throughout the province.
The agreement was negotiated, on one part, by UGT-FICA and the CCOO Industry Federation, representing the workers, and, on the other, by FOES and the business associations of the iron and steel sector, representing the employer side. The registration is carried out under article 90, paragraphs 2 and 3, of Royal Legislative Decree 2/2015, of October 23, which approves the revised text of the Workers’ Statute Law.
Scope and validity
The agreement has a validity of three years, effective from January 1, 2026, until December 31, 2028, and shall be understood as automatically terminated at the end of its validity period. Its functional scope covers all companies in the metal sector of the province, including metallurgy, steelmaking, automotive, aerospace industry, renewable energies, robotics, home automation, telecommunications, and unmanned systems or drones, among other activities.

The provisional salary tables for 2026 appear in Annex IV of the text, and the arrears derived from its application since January must be paid by September 30, 2026, at the latest.
- Night shift bonus: 15 euros per workday in 2026.

Contracting and subrogation
The text regulates the subrogation in the maintenance tasks of public administration facilities and in the wind energy sector, such that the incoming company shall subrogate the contracts of the outgoing company’s workers linked to those tasks, provided they have provided services to the contract for at least twelve months. Senior and middle management are excluded from subrogation.
Regarding contracting, reference is made to the Workers’ Statute and the IV State Collective Agreement for Industry, New Technologies, and Services of the Metal Sector. Personnel from temporary employment agencies shall receive 100% of the salary concepts of the agreement and may not be assigned to positions classified as serious or very serious risk. The notice periods for voluntary termination are 15 days for operators and subordinates, one month for administrative and trade personnel, and two months for the rest.
Relevance of the agreement
The agreement, which applies to thousands of metal workers in the province, consolidates a stable three-year framework with guaranteed salary increases and protection against inflation, in addition to reinforcing subrogation in public and wind maintenance services. Its publication in the official bulletin grants regulatory effectiveness to the agreement and binds all companies in the sector in Soria.
