The Territorial Labor Office of the Territorial Delegation of the Junta de Castilla y León in Soria has ordered the registration and publication of the new Provincial Collective Agreement for the Hospitality Sector of the province of Soria, by resolution dated September 2, 2026. The text, signed on July 30, 2026, appears in the Official Gazette of the Province of Soria number 105, dated September 9, 2026, in the Autonomous Administration section.
The agreement was negotiated, on one side, by the Federation of Soria Business Organizations (FOES) and the Soria Hospitality and Tourism Group (ASOHTUR), representing the employer side, and, on the other, by Comisiones Obreras (CCOO), representing the workers. The registration is carried out under article 90, paragraphs 2 and 3, of Royal Legislative Decree 2/2015, of October 23, which approves the revised text of the Workers’ Statute Law.
Validity and Salary Increases
The agreement enters into force with retroactive effect from January 1, 2026, and will have a duration of four years, until December 31, 2029. Salary remuneration is increased in a staggered manner over the previous year’s tables:
- 2026: +3.25% over 2025 salaries.
- 2027: +3.00% over 2026 salaries.
- 2028: +3.00% over 2027 salaries.
- 2029: +3.25% over 2028 salaries.
An update clause is included: if the sum of the actual CPI from 2026 to 2029 exceeds 12.50%, a salary update will be applied effective January 1, 2030, on the excess, up to a maximum of 1%. Base salaries incorporate the service percentage, which disappears as a separate concept.
Working Hours, Rest and Vacations
The working day will have a maximum duration of 40 hours per week and 1,780 hours per year throughout the validity of the agreement. Companies may flex the working day for 90 days per year, with a daily maximum of 9 hours and a weekly maximum of 45 hours, following notification to the worker and their representatives with a minimum notice of 30 days.
- All personnel will be entitled to 31 days of annual vacation.
- Public holidays worked and not recoverable may be paid with a 100% surcharge (to 300%), accumulated with vacations, or enjoyed as continuous rest between June and September.
- A minimum rest of 12 hours between working days and one and a half uninterrupted days per week is guaranteed, in accordance with the Workers’ Statute.
Supplements and Economic Conditions
The agreement establishes various economic supplements with updated amounts for each year of validity. Notable among these are meals in kind or their salary supplement, the distance bonus, and work clothing:
- Maintenance: €39.24 monthly in 2026, €40.42 in 2027, €41.63 in 2028, and €42.98 in 2029.
- Distance allowance: from €24.80 to €27.17 monthly depending on the year for commutes up to 5 km, with higher amounts for greater distances.
- Work clothing: €28.60 monthly in 2026, with annual increases up to €31.33 in 2029.
- Gratuities for marriage and birth of €53.71 each.
- Accident insurance of €25,000 for death or permanent disability resulting from a work accident.
Joint Commission and conflict resolution
A Joint Commission for the monitoring and interpretation of the agreement is established, composed of 8 members (4 representing the employer and 4 representing the workers), located at Vicente Tutor street no. 6, 4th floor, 42001 Soria. Its decisions are adopted by unanimity, and it must meet within seven days from the time an issue is raised. The signing parties formally adhere to the Agreement for the Autonomous Resolution of Labor Conflicts in Castilla y León (ASACL), and an Equal Opportunities Commission is also created to guarantee non-discrimination on the basis of sex.
The new labor framework affects all establishments and workers in the hospitality sector of the province, both present and future, framed within the VI State-Level Labor Agreement for the Hospitality Sector (ALEH). With a validity of four years and guaranteed wage increases, the agreement provides stability and predictability to one of Soria’s sectors with the greatest economic and seasonal weight.
