Por FactBox Admin

The Territorial Labor Office of the Territorial Delegation of the Junta de Castilla y León in Soria has registered and published the new Collective Agreement for the Agricultural-Livestock Sector of the province of Soria, in effect for the 2026-2028 period. The text, signed on August 3, 2026, establishes salary increases of 3.25% for each of the three years of validity and affects all permanent, temporary, and seasonal staff in the province.

The publication is carried out through the Resolution of August 14, 2026, signed by the head of the Territorial Labor Office, Noemí Molinuevo Estéfano, in the Official Gazette of the Province of Soria (no. 96, of August 19, 2026, pp. 2823-2840). The agreement is issued in exercise of the powers conferred by article 90, paragraphs 2 and 3, of Royal Legislative Decree 2/2015, of October 23, which approves the revised text of the Workers’ Statute Law.

Negotiating parties and scope of application

The agreement has been negotiated by the employer side and the social side, and its territorial and functional scope refers to the Arbitral Award of October 6, 2000, approved by the Resolution of November 17, 2000, of the General Directorate of Labor.

  • Employer side: Federation of Soria Business Organizations (FOES), Provincial Association of Pig Livestock Producers of Soria (APORSO), and the General Association of Soria Entrepreneurs (AGES).
  • Social side: General Union of Workers (UGT) and Workers’ Commissions (CCOO).
  • Scope: all agricultural and livestock activities carried out by permanent, temporary, and seasonal staff, and all companies residing in the province of Soria.

Salary increases and revision clause

The agreement sets increases of 3.25% over the previous year’s salaries for 2026, 2027, and 2028, effective from January 1 of each fiscal year. Additionally, it incorporates a salary revision clause: if the sum of the actual CPI for the years 2026, 2027, and 2028 exceeds 9.75%, an update will be made effective January 1, 2029, on the excess, up to a maximum of 1%.

The annual salary tables for 2026 are as follows:

  • Technical Staff: 16,950.60 euros per year.
  • Office Manager: 16,563.70 euros per year.
  • Foremen, supervisors, or team leaders: 15,034.35 euros per year.
  • Tractor drivers and agricultural machinery operators: 14,636.50 euros per year.
  • 1st Class Specialists: 13,957.60 euros per year.
  • Unskilled staff: 13,713.05 euros per year.

Working day, payments, and other conditions

The annual working day is set at 1,786 hours for 2026 and 2027 and 1,784 hours for 2028, with the possibility of irregular distribution. Personnel shall earn two extraordinary payments of thirty days (July and Christmas) and a special bonus of thirty days for the feast of San Isidro Labrador, patron of the activity, paid on May 14.

  • Overtime: a surcharge of 75% over the value of the ordinary hour.
  • Seniority: five-year increments of 5% of the base salary, with a maximum of three increments (15%).
  • Sundays and holidays: right to at least 16 Sundays and 5 holidays of annual rest, with compensations of 33.74 and 47.24 euros per non-rest day.
  • Per diems: 51.18 euros for full and 22.35 euros for half per diems for trips exceeding 60 km.

Relevance of the agreement

The agreement, which will be automatically extended at the end of its term until a new one comes into force, guarantees predictable salary increases and an inflation protection clause for a key sector of the Soria economy. Its registration and publication provide legal certainty to the agricultural and livestock companies and workers of the province, who will see their remuneration updated in stages until 2028.
