Sevilla readmite a cinco opositoras a las 46 plazas de Auxiliar Administrativo

The Seville City Council has upheld five appeals for reconsideration and has rectified the final list of persons admitted and excluded from the selection process to fill 46 Administrative Assistant positions, incorporating the five appellants with their corresponding admission numbers. The decision is contained in resolution number 7005, dated October 28, 2026, from the Director General of Human Resources, published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Seville (BOP) no. 215, Friday, November 6, 2026, with reference BOP-SE-2026-215036.

The origin of the conflict

The appeals were directed against resolution number 5234, dated August 5, 2026, which made the list of admitted and excluded persons for the process final and was published in BOP no. 153, August 10, 2026. The five candidates challenged that list between August 11 and 27, 2026, and the Selection, Recruitment, and Human Resources Management Service issued respective reports on October 26, 2026, which now justify the rectification.

The selection procedure, via the competitive examination and open entry system, was convened to formally provide 46 Administrative Assistant positions corresponding to the public employment offers of 2021, 2022, and 2023, according to the rules published in BOP no. 256, November 6, 2023.

The five admitted candidates

The resolution fully upholds the appeals and orders the inclusion of the appellants in the list of admitted persons, in application of article 109.2 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, which allows for the rectification of errors in administrative acts. The incorporated persons, with their admission numbers, are:

  • 891.1 — Calderón Suárez, María Mar
  • 1769.1 — Díaz Zapata, Sonia Cristina
  • 2787.1 — Gómez Grande, Reyes
  • 2881.1 — González Bellido, Jessica
  • 4265.1 — Mateos Montero, María Dolores

The authority to resolve corresponds to the head of the support body for the Local Government Board, by delegation agreed upon by the Government Board of the City of Seville on October 4, 2024. The announcement is signed by the head of the Selection, Recruitment, and Human Resources Management Service.

A second resolution: deadline for correction

In the same gazette, the Seville City Council publishes another resolution from the same service, number 7011, also dated October 28, 2026 (BOP-SE-2026-215037), which affects two more candidates from the same process. In this case, the ruling is partial: Elena López Higueras and Eva María Ferrera Gallardo have a period of ten business days, counting from the day following the notification, to correct the documentation detailed in the annex of the resolution, under the protection of article 68.1 of Law 39/2015.

The Administration acknowledges in the text that the municipal review of documentation had been omitted from its requests. If they do not rectify this within the deadline, they will be definitively excluded from the selection process, which remains pending the closing of its list of applicants.

The impact is direct for all candidates: five people re-enter the final list of a process for 46 positions and two more still have the option to do so, meaning the list of admitted candidates published in August is modified and the examination calendar may be affected. The City Council orders that both resolutions be forwarded to the interested parties, along with the technical reports that motivate them, and published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Seville and on the municipal website.
