Social Security rents a 360-square-meter premises in Liberdade Square

The Provincial Directorate of the General Treasury of the Social Security of Lugo is putting up for public auction a commercial premises of 360.63 square meters located at plaza da Liberdade number 7, in the city center. The first auction, through an open procedure, will be held on October 26, 2026, at 10:00 hours at the provincial headquarters of the organization, with a bidding price of 228,636 euros. The announcement was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Lugo number 219, of September 24, 2026, with the reference R. 2526.

The operation responds to the disposal agreement adopted by the General Treasury of the Social Security, which convenes the first public auction of the property through an open procedure. It is an urban asset registered in favor of the organization in the Property Registry number 1 of Lugo, with property number 53301, volume 1026, book 587, folio 125, and entry 2ª. The cadastral reference is 8224919PH1682S0001FO and the property is free of charges.

A 360-meter premises in the center of Lugo

According to the official description, access to the premises is from the exterior through a pair of automatic double glass doors, separated by a windbreak area. The space has differentiated areas: main access, waiting and circulation areas, offices, toilets, air conditioning machinery room, cleaning room, and warehouse. The office areas are delimited by aluminum partitions and the premises has a height of 4.50 meters to the false ceiling.

Bidding price, guarantee, and energy efficiency

The bidding price was set at 228,636 euros. The guarantee that bidders must provide is five percent of the price, that is, 11,431.80 euros.

Regarding energy performance, the Energy Efficiency Certificate for Existing Buildings, registered on April 12, 2018, grants the property an E rating in energy consumption, with 277 kWh/m² per year, and a D rating in emissions, with 47 kgCO2/m² per year.

Deadlines, offers, and property visit

Interested parties may submit written offers in a sealed envelope until 14:00 hours on October 16, 2026. Offers must be presented at the General Registry of the Provincial Directorate of the General Treasury of the Social Security of Lugo, at Ronda Xosé Castiñeira number 26, or at any of the registries provided for in Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations.

The auction act will take place on October 26, 2026, at 10:00 hours at the headquarters of the Provincial Directorate, at Ronda Músico Xosé Castiñeira number 26 in Lugo, before the Board constituted for this purpose. The terms and conditions are available to bidders at the Provincial Directorate itself, from 9:00 to 14:00 hours, and can also be downloaded from the Social Security website, www.seg-social.es, in the section “a un clic/compra e venta de inmuebles”.

Who signs the resolution

The resolution is dated September 17, 2026, and is signed by the provincial director, Juan José Rodríguez Gude. The announcement was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Lugo number 219, corresponding to Thursday, September 24, 2026, on page 36.
