Collective agreement published in the Official Gazette of Santa Cruz de Tenerife
The General Directorate of Labour of the Department of Tourism and Employment of the Government of the Canary Islands has ordered the registration, deposit and publication of the collective agreement for the employees of the company Schreiber de Canarias S.L., as set out in Official Gazette of the Province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife number 98, corresponding to Monday, 17 August 2026. The resolution bears registration number 289449 and internal code 38105011012026, and is published on page 23254 of the provincial gazette.
The provision, dated 5 August 2026 in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, was electronically signed by the Director General of Labour, José Ramón Rodríguez Albertus. With this publication, the agreement negotiated between the company and the workers’ representatives acquires full legal effect and is made available to all interested parties.
Legal basis and registration procedure
The administrative act is based on Articles 90.2 and 90.3 of the Consolidated Text of the Workers’ Statute Act, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 2/2015 of 23 October, and on Royal Decree 713/2010, on the registration and deposit of collective labour agreements and accords. Likewise, Article 12.2(a) of the Organic Regulations of the Department of Tourism and Employment, approved by Decree 37/2024 of 4 March (published in BOC number 52 of 12 March), is invoked.
The procedure followed was as follows:
- The text of the agreement was signed by the corresponding Negotiating Committee.
- The General Directorate of Labour verified compliance with the legal requirements.
- Registration in the Register of collective labour agreements and accords of the governing body was agreed.
- The deposit of the agreement was carried out, with notification to the Negotiating Committee.
- Publication in the Official Gazette of the Province was arranged for public knowledge.
Implications for Schreiber de Canarias workers
The company Schreiber de Canarias S.L. operates in the Canary Islands archipelago, and its collective agreement regulates the working conditions of the employees providing services in the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The publication of the agreement in the official gazette means that its clauses — relating to wages, working hours, leave and other working conditions — are binding on the company and on the workers included within its scope of application.
From a practical standpoint, employees of Schreiber de Canarias and their legal representatives can access the full text of the collective agreement through the electronic headquarters of the Government of the Canary Islands or request a copy from the registry of the governing body. The agreement enters into force in accordance with the provisions of the collective agreement itself and current labor legislation.
Context within the framework of Canary Islands collective bargaining
The publication of this collective agreement is part of the ordinary activity of the General Directorate of Labor of the Government of the Canary Islands, which periodically registers and deposits the agreements reached between companies and workers in the autonomous community. Provincial bulletin number 98 of Monday, August 17, 2026 contains, in addition to this collective agreement, other administrative resolutions of various kinds, but the agreement of Schreiber de Canarias is the only collective agreement published in this edition.
The official publication has both constitutive and informative effects: on the one hand, it formalizes the deposit of the collective agreement with the labor administration; on the other, it guarantees the right of citizens to know the content of the collective agreement affecting a company with a presence in the province.
