The Plenary Session of the Corporation of the Sanlúcar la Mayor City Council, in an ordinary session held on July 29, 2026, initially approved the Municipal Housing and Land Plan of Sanlúcar la Mayor. The agreement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Seville, number 163, Monday, August 24, 2026, with reference BOP-SE-2026-163017.
The file is subject to public information and a hearing for interested parties for a period of twenty business days for the submission of claims and suggestions. The announcement is posted on the Edicts Board of the Town Hall, on the Announcements and Edicts Board of the Municipal Electronic Office, on the Transparency Portal, and in the BOP itself.
Initial approval and hearing process
The plan, which organizes the municipal housing and land policy, is initially approved by the Plenary and now enters the citizen participation phase. During the public information period, any interested party may submit allegations to the document before its final approval.
The full text of the plan is available on the Transparency Portal of the Sanlúcar la Mayor City Council, within the indicator of annual and multi-annual plans and programs, as well as via the link enabled on the municipal electronic office.
Effects of allegations
The regulations establish an automatic approval mechanism: if no claims or suggestions are submitted during the public information period, the plan shall be understood as definitively approved. Otherwise, the allegations must be resolved by the Plenary, which will also rule on the final approval.
- Period for allegations: twenty business days from publication.
- Decision-making body: Plenary Session of the Corporation.
- Document: Municipal Housing and Land Plan of Sanlúcar la Mayor.
Signature and publication
The announcement appears signed by the Acting Mayor, Juan Salado Ríos, appointed by Resolution 970/2026, of July 30, and is published on page 32 of the gazette. The document incorporates a recognized electronic signature in accordance with Law 6/2020, of November 11, regulating certain aspects of trust electronic services.
The approval of this plan is key for the residential planning of the municipality and for the access to housing for its residents, as it sets the objectives, activities, means, and deadlines planned regarding land and housing. Citizen participation in this process directly conditions the final content of the document that will govern the urban and residential development of Sanlúcar la Mayor in the coming years.
