San Clemente announces two educator positions via competitive examination
Por FactBox Admin

The San Clemente City Council has approved two public employment calls to fill two educator positions through a competitive examination process (concurso-oposición) in the open shift. The announcements are published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cuenca number 99, dated August 28, 2026, under references NO. 2065 and NO. 2066.
Both processes are handled via Mayoral resolution: the position of social educator-director of the occupational center, approved by Mayoral Resolution 2026-475 of August 26, and that of early childhood educator at the “Princesa Leonor” nursery school, by Mayoral Resolution 2026-473 of August 25. Both positions belong to the General Administration scale, group A, subgroup A2, and are offered as full-time permanent contracts.
Two profiles, two centers
The first call seeks to fill a vacancy for a social educator-director at the Occupational Center of the San Clemente City Council. The second, a position for an early childhood educator at the Child Care Center, corresponding to the “Princesa Leonor” school. In both cases, a Diploma or Degree in Social Education (for the director position, additionally, the course for director of social service centers) or in Early Childhood Education, respectively, is required.
Common requirements include Spanish nationality or nationality of a European Union member state, functional capacity, age between 16 and the age of compulsory retirement, and not having been dismissed from any Public Administration. As these are positions with regular contact with minors, applicants may not have final convictions for crimes against sexual freedom and indemnity.
Selection process and fees
The procedure combines an examination phase and a merit phase:
- Examination phase (maximum 10 points): a theoretical multiple-choice test of 55 questions in 60 minutes, with a minimum of 5 points to obtain the position.
- Merit phase (maximum 7 points): assessment of professional experience (up to 5 points) and academic and training merits.
- Examination fee: 30.00 euros, in accordance with the Regulatory Ordinance approved by the City Council (BOP no. 34, of March 20, 2024).
Applications shall be submitted to the General Registry of the City Council or through its electronic office (www.sanclemente.es), addressed to the Mayor-President. Applicants who do not obtain a position but exceed 20% of the total score will be integrated into a job bank valid for three years, which repeals previous job banks for both categories.
Impact for the municipality
With these two calls for applications, the City Council of San Clemente consolidates the stable coverage of its educational and social services, guaranteeing care for minors in the nursery school and for people with disabilities in the occupational center. The publication of the full terms and conditions in the provincial bulletin opens the period for interested parties to submit their applications and initiate a process that, once resolved, will formalize the contracts as permanent staff within one month.
