Salceda somete a exposición pública a ordenanza do imposto de actividades económicas

The City Council of Salceda de Caselas has initially approved the modification of Fiscal Ordinance No. 25, the regulation governing the Tax on Economic Activities (IAE) in the municipality. The agreement was adopted by the Plenary in the session of October 29, 2026, and the announcement was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Pontevedra (BOPPO) on November 3, 2026, no. 212, in section I, Local Administration, with the official reference W03QKQ23PL7ZLNZ3. Starting from the day following the publication, a period of thirty business days is open for any interested person to consult the file and submit allegations.

The processing is based on Article 49 and Article 70.2 of Law 7/1985, of April 2, Regulating the Bases of the Local Regime, and Articles 15 to 19 of the Recast Text of the Law Regulating Local Treasuries, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of March 5. The IAE is one of the own taxes of the city councils, meaning that any change in its regulating ordinance must necessarily go through a period of public exhibition before being finalized. The text of the announcement does not include the technical detail of the modification: the full content is available at the municipal offices and on the council’s web portal, at http://salcedadecaselas.es/.

How and where to appeal

The period for submitting claims is thirty business days, counted from the day following the publication of the announcement in the BOPPO, that is, from November 4, 2026. During this period, any interested person may consult the file and present the allegations they deem appropriate.

  • Deadline: 30 business days from the day following the publication in the BOPPO.
  • Place of consultation: municipal offices of the City Council of Salceda de Caselas.
  • Online consultation: municipal web portal, http://salcedadecaselas.es/.
  • Legal basis: Articles 49 and 70.2 of Law 7/1985 and Articles 15 to 19 of Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004.

Who is affected

The ordinance regulates the tax on the exercise of economic activities within the municipal district, therefore the modification directly concerns all entrepreneurs and freelancers with activity in Salceda de Caselas, as well as those planning to start an activity in the council. The announcement does not specify which articles are modified nor the scope of the changes, therefore the complete information must be consulted in the text deposited at the town hall and on the municipal website during the exhibition period.

What happens if there are no claims

According to the announcement published in the BOPPO, if no claim is submitted within the indicated period, the agreement to modify the ordinance will be understood as definitively approved without the need for a new plenary agreement. That is, the initial approval becomes definitive by administrative silence once the thirty business days have elapsed.

Other agreement from the same plenary session

The Plenary of October 29, 2026, also adopted the initial approval of the modification of the Municipal Social Emergency Aid Regulations, published in the same issue of the BOPPO under reference WPEV2FDWYLPU7L9B. In this case, the file is also subject to public information and a hearing for interested parties for thirty business days, although the consultation and submission of suggestions can be made at the municipal offices and on the electronic headquarters, at http://salcedadecaselas.sedelectronica.gal. The processing was based on Article 49 of Law 7/1985 and Article 133.2 of Law 39/2015, of October 1.

The modification of the IAE ordinance has an immediate practical effect on the local economic fabric: it establishes the framework by which the tax is settled for freelancers and companies with activity in the municipality and, therefore, conditions the fiscal cost of their activity. With the period open until the close of the thirty business days, those affected have the final opportunity to influence the text before it is definitively approved without the need to return to the plenary.
