The IV collective agreement of the Naturgy Group has been registered and published

The Official State Gazette publishes this Friday, September 4, 2026, the Resolution of August 25, 2026, of the Directorate General of Labor, by which the IV Collective Agreement of the Naturgy Group (agreement code no. 90100123012013) is registered and published. The text, which affects active employees of the energy group’s companies throughout Spanish territory, was signed on June 30, 2026, and was rectified by minutes dated August 3, 2026.

The resolution, signed by the Director General of Labor, María Nieves González García, orders the registration of the agreement in the Registry of collective agreements, collective labor agreements, and equality plans and provides for its publication in the official gazette, in accordance with Article 90 of the Workers’ Statute and Royal Decree 713/2010, of May 28.

Scope and signing parties

The agreement applies to the 27 companies that make up the Naturgy Group, including Naturgy Energy Group, SA, Naturgy Generación, SLU, Gas Natural Comercializadora, SA, Nedgia, SA, UFD Distribución de Electricidad, SA, Naturgy Renovables, SLU, and Naturgy Clientes, SAU, as well as companies resulting from mergers or spin-offs in which the group maintains a majority position. Geographically, it applies to all workplaces located in Spain.

The text was negotiated and signed by the group’s management representation and by the trade union organizations USO and CC. OO.-Industria, which concur with the legitimacy provided for in Article 89.3 of the Workers’ Statute.

Validity and main updates

The agreement enters into force on the day of its signing and extends its validity until December 31, 2028, with automatic year-by-year extension unless denounced in writing six months in advance. Among its key pillars are:

• A new egalitarian, integrated, and homogeneous energy bonus model that replaces the differentiated systems in place since the merger of the gas and electricity companies.
• The homogenization of the healthcare benefit for the entire workforce.
• A common new model for shifts and on-call duties that eliminates operational differences.
• A common remuneration structure, with pay linked to contribution to results.
• Professional classification by groups and functional and geographical mobility as management tools.

Employment guarantee

The agreement incorporates an employment stability guarantee clause for active permanent employees, such that the group will prioritize measures such as mobility, versatility, or internal filling of vacancies before resorting to collective redundancies. It also commits to negotiating in good faith during the periods of validity, extension, and ultra-activity.

The publication of this fourth group agreement consolidates a modern and homogeneous labor relations framework for one of the country’s leading energy companies, within a context of energy transition and sector transformation, and affects thousands of workers in the distribution, generation, and marketing of gas and electricity throughout Spain.
