Por FactBox Admin

The General Directorate of Labor of the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment of the Community of Madrid has registered, deposited, and ordered the publication of the collective agreement of the company Compañía Operadora de Corto y Medio Radio Iberia Express, S. A., by resolution of August 4, 2026. The text, signed by the Negotiating Commission on July 15, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Community of Madrid number 206, of August 29, 2026, in section I.C (Other Provisions), pages 5 and following.

The agreement, registered under code 28103670012023, is processed in accordance with Royal Decree 713/2010, of May 28, on the Registration and Deposit of Collective Agreements, and article 90 of the Workers’ Statute. It is signed by the company and the unions USO and CCOO, who mutually recognize each other’s legitimacy to agree upon it.

Scope and validity

The agreement applies to all personnel of the Office (STAFF) collective of the company in the workplaces of the Community of Madrid, with the exception of Director or Manager positions and collectives with their own agreement, such as pilots and cabin crew. It enters into force on January 1, 2026, and will remain in effect until December 31, 2029, with tacit extension for twelve-month periods if not denounced two months in advance.

  • Territorial scope: workplaces in the Community of Madrid.
  • Personal scope: Office (STAFF) collective, excluding executives and crews.
  • Validity: January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2029.

Working day, shifts and reconciliation

The annual working day is set at 1,760 hours for 2026 and 1,744 hours for 2027 and onwards, with a gradual reduction through additional vacation days. Office staff work a split shift with flexible hours, and H24 departments operate on a shift system, with new rules that will apply from September 1, 2026.

  • Teleworking: up to one day a week, with a pool of 12 annual days.
  • Vacations: 25 working days, plus additional days for working day reduction.
  • Breastfeeding: 14 paid working days as an alternative to the half-hour reduction.
  • Leaves of absence: voluntary (4 months to 5 years), for childcare (up to 3 years), and for family care (up to 2 years).

Remuneration and benefits

The agreement establishes 14 annual payments, with the option to receive them in 12 or 14 monthly installments, and a salary structure with fixed and variable components. The salary review for 2026-2029 is linked to the company’s EBIT/revenue margin, with consolidated increases between 0.50% and 3%, and an additional non-consolidated increase conditioned on punctuality indicators (OTP), customer satisfaction (NPS), and cost per seat (Cask-exfuel).

  • Night shift premium: €4/hour; public holiday: €70/day; Sundays: €35/day.
  • Per diems: €30 national, €50 with overnight stay, €35 international and €60 with overnight stay.
  • Tickets: unlimited standby and 12 annual confirmed segments for the employee and their beneficiaries.
  • Temporary disability: supplement up to 100% of the gross fixed salary in the event of a workplace accident.

Monitoring of the agreement

A Joint Commission for interpretation and monitoring is created, composed of six members (three representing the employees and three representing the company), which will resolve claims regarding professional classification within a maximum period of 40 days. The commission will be established within 60 days following the signing and will hold ordinary meetings every six months.

The publication of the agreement in the official bulletin provides publicity and regulatory effectiveness to the agreement, which affects the labor and economic conditions of the airline’s office staff in Madrid. Its salary review model linked to results and its commitment to work-life balance and teleworking set the standard for collective bargaining in the regional aviation sector.
