Pueblonuevo de Miramontes approves the funeral home service regulations

The Plenary Session of the City Council of Pueblonuevo de Miramontes, in a session held on September 3, 2026, has agreed to the initial approval of the Regulatory Regulations for the municipal funeral parlor service of the town. The agreement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cáceres, number 176, dated September 15, 2026, and is subject to public consultation for a period of thirty days.

The decision affects all residents of the municipality, as the regulations establish the conditions for the provision and use of an essential local service. The thirty-day period begins to count from the day following the publication of the announcement in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cáceres, that is, from September 16, 2026. During this period, residents may submit allegations, claims, and suggestions regarding the content of the regulations.

Automatic Elevation to Final

The announcement includes a relevant provision: if no claims or suggestions are submitted during the public information period, the initial approval agreement will be understood as automatically elevated to final, without the need for a new plenary agreement. This provision is based on Article 49.c) of Law 7/1985, of April 2.

In this way, citizen participation in this process is decisive: the absence of allegations will imply the entry into force of the regulations without further plenary debate, while the submission of observations will require them to be resolved before final approval.
