Collective agreement of the UTE Aguas de Benicàssim published until 2028

The Official Gazette of the Province of Castellón number 109, dated September 10, 2026, publishes the text of the collective labor agreement of the company UTE Aguas de Benicàssim, effective until December 31, 2028, with economic effects retroactive to January 1, 2026. The registration and publication have been agreed upon by the Territorial Directorate of Housing, Employment, Youth and Equality of Castellón, which orders its registration in the Registry of Collective Agreements, Collective Labor Agreements and Equality Plans of the Comunitat Valenciana.

The agreement, signed in Castellón de la Plana on August 31, 2026, by the territorial director José Luis Chiva Cabedo, is issued in accordance with articles 89 and 90 of the Workers’ Statute and Royal Decree 713/2010, of May 28, regarding the registration and deposit of collective agreements. The document bears the official reference 03903-2026 and is included in the Autonomous Administration section of the gazette.

Signing parties and scope of application

The agreement has been concerted between the representation of the company UTE Aguas de Benicàssim —dedicated to the collection and distribution of drinking water and the maintenance of sewage networks in Benicàssim— and the representation of its workers, belonging to FIA-UGT. The affected workforce is that hired by FOBESA-Potables at the Benicàssim workplace.

Salary increases and working hours

The agreement sets a salary increase of 3% for 2026, while for 2027 the increase will be the actual CPI of 2026 with a minimum of 3% and a maximum of 4%, and for 2028 the actual CPI of 2027 with a minimum of 2% and a maximum of 4%. The annual effective working day is established at 1,706 hours for 2026 and 1,700 hours for 2027 and 2028.

• Vacations: 23 working days in 2026 and 24 days starting from 2027.
• Four annual extraordinary payments (March, July, October, and December).
• Weekly on-call bonus of 104 euros and schooling bonus of 92.44 euros.
• Collective occupational accident insurance with compensation of 25,000 euros in case of permanent disability, severe invalidity, or death.

2026 Salary Tables

Annex 1 contains the salary tables for 2026, with monthly salaries ranging from 3,377.62 euros for higher degree holders with management roles to 1,104.00 euros for organizational assistants. Intermediate levels include group leaders (2,796.26 euros), first-class skilled workers (1,648.13 euros), and laborers (1,302.02 euros).

The agreement, which repeals the previously signed one, adopts as a reference the State Collective Agreement for the industries of abstraction, lifting, conveyance, treatment, distribution, sanitation, and purification of drinking and waste waters published in the BOE on September 25, 2025. Any generated arrears must be settled within thirty days following the publication in the bulletin.
