Poland updates pay scales for Polska Cyfrowa project centre staff

Poland has updated the basic salary scales for employees of the Centrum Projektów Polska Cyfrowa, a state budgetary unit, through a regulation of the Minister of Family, Labour and Social Policy of 14 September 2026. The measure, published in Dziennik Ustaw of 15 September 2026 under poz. 1212, amends the remuneration conditions for workers in certain state budgetary units and applies to salaries due from 1 January 2026.

Legal basis and scope

The regulation is issued under Article 77³ § 1 of the Labour Code of 26 June 1974 and modifies the earlier regulation of the Minister of Labour and Social Policy of 30 April 2008 on the conditions of remuneration and other work-related benefits for employees of selected state budgetary units. It replaces Table III of Annex 1 to that regulation, which governs pay for staff of the Centrum Projektów Polska Cyfrowa.

The document was signed by Minister Agnieszka Dziemianowicz-Bąk, who heads the department of government administration for labour. The new tables enter into force on the day following publication, while the revised rates are applied retroactively to remuneration due from the start of 2026.

New salary ranges

The updated table sets monthly basic salary bands across fifteen job classification categories, from the lowest to the highest grade:

• Category I: PLN 4,900–6,500
• Category II: PLN 4,950–7,100
• Category III: PLN 5,000–7,500
• Category IV: PLN 5,050–8,400
• Category V: PLN 5,100–9,200
• Category VI: PLN 5,500–9,900
• Category VII: PLN 5,750–10,500
• Category VIII: PLN 6,100–11,600
• Category IX: PLN 6,300–12,400
• Category X: PLN 6,500–14,600
• Category XI: PLN 6,900–17,100
• Category XII: PLN 7,500–18,200
• Category XIII: PLN 8,250–19,300
• Category XIV: PLN 9,000–20,900
• Category XV: PLN 9,650–22,600

Impact

The revision gives the Centrum Projektów Polska Cyfrowa, which manages digital-transformation and EU-funded IT projects, a clearer and updated pay structure for its workforce. Because the new rates take effect from 1 January 2026, affected employees are entitled to the adjusted basic salaries for the current year, and the change aligns the unit’s remuneration with the broader framework for state budgetary institutions.
