Perafort habilita 660.800 euros de crèdit extraordinari per a inversions i serveis

The Perafort City Council has approved a credit modification of the current budget for a total amount of 660,800 euros, intended to cover investment and current expenses that did not have sufficient or expandable allocated credit. The operation is broken down into a credit supplement of 240,900 euros and an extraordinary credit of 419,900 euros. The announcement, signed by Mayor Jordi Cacho Pallarès with an electronic signature date of October 29, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Tarragona (BOPT) on November 2, 2026, with the reference CVE 2026-10173 (pp. 1-3).

The agreement is framed within article 169.1, by reference to article 177.2, of the Recast Text of the Law regulating local treasuries, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of March 5. The text justifies the modification based on the “non-existence of credit for various investment and current expenses” with insufficient and non-expandable allocated credit, and structures the operation charged to higher revenues and the incorporation of remnants.

With the supplement, the affected applications increase from 743,369.58 euros to 984,269.58 euros; the extraordinary credit, which starts from zero in all items, adds 419,900. The total modification thus reaches 660,800 euros.

Details of the credit supplement

The supplement affects sixteen budget applications, with an additional contribution of 240,900 euros. The most relevant are:

  • Miscellaneous festivals: 90,000 euros (from 157,000 to 237,000).
  • Personnel recruitment (ETT): 32,000 euros (from 118,000 to 150,000).

  • Brigade and cleaning uniforms, press and publications, transfer to Comarques and relocation of the electricity box in Generalitat Square: between 800 and 1,000 euros per item.

Extraordinary credit: 419,900 euros, with real estate as the main item

The extraordinary credit finances ten actions that had no initial allocation. The purchase of real estate, with 375,000 euros, concentrates nearly nine out of every ten euros of this block and becomes the largest economic decision of the operation.

The remaining items are:

  • Pumps for sanitation systems: 15,000 euros.
  • Replacement of hydrants in the industrial estate: 12,000 euros.
  • Extension of the irrigation canal for the lawn sprinklers at the Puigdelfí pool: 5,500 euros.

  • Laminator for the City Council: 300 euros.

Financing and official publication

The financing is completed with higher revenues, the incorporation of a surplus, and a reduction in expenditure applications: the gardening application for the Catalunya Avenue area is reduced by 175,800 euros, going from 236,900 to 61,100 euros.

Against the agreement, the document indicates that interested parties may directly file a contentious-administrative appeal in the form and within the terms of articles 25 to 42 of Law 29/1998, of July 13, regulating this jurisdiction, in accordance with article 171 of the Revised Text of the Law regulating local treasuries. The filing of the appeal shall not by itself suspend the effectiveness of the contested agreement, according to article 113.3 of Law 7/1985.

The operation arrives in the final stretch of the fiscal year and brings Perafort’s budget much closer to the real needs of the municipality: it organizes expenses that until now had no coverage, such as personnel hired through temporary employment agencies (ETT), legal services, or the maintenance of facilities, and reserves half of the new resources for investment. For the residents, the most relevant piece of data is the purchase of real estate for 375,000 euros, a broad asset decision that will have to be specified in the coming months.
