Pass'Sport 2026: 50 euro aid renewed for the 2026-2027 season

Por FactBox Admin

The Pass’Sport has been renewed for the 2026-2027 season. Decree No. 2026-830 of August 28, 2026, published in the Official Journal of the French Republic No. 0201 of August 29, 2026 (NOR SPOV2619737D), establishes a flat-rate grant of 50 euros to reduce the cost of membership or sports licensing for young people from low-income households, scholarship students, and beneficiaries of the disabled adult allowance (AAH) or the disabled child education allowance (AEEH).

Signed by the Ministry of Sports, Youth and Community Life, this text specifies that the aid takes the form of a reimbursement by the State of the 50-euro reduction applied by sports organizations to the membership or license fee. The benefit of the Pass’Sport is personal and non-transferable and cannot result in any cash reimbursement.

Who can benefit

For the year 2026, the scheme is open to persons meeting one of the following conditions between August 1 and December 31, 2026:

  • being between six and seventeen years of age and belonging to a beneficiary household whose family quotient, established by the National Family Allowance Fund or the Central Fund for Agricultural Social Mutual Aid, is 699 euros or less;
  • being between six and nineteen years of age and receiving the AEEH for the year 2026;
  • being between sixteen and thirty years of age and receiving the AAH for the year 2026;
  • being a student aged twenty-eight or under receiving a means-tested higher education scholarship awarded or funded by the State, or annual aid from the Regional Centers for University and School Works;
  • being a student in initial training in health and social programs receiving means-tested annual aid.

The family quotient is calculated based on the household’s total net taxable income for the year 2024, divided by the number of shares (two shares for parents, a half-share per child, one share for the third child, an additional half-share for each child with a disability receiving the AEEH).

Where to use the aid

The Pass’Sport can be used for any membership or license acquisition effective from September 1 to December 31, 2026, with the following organizations:

  • sports associations and structures affiliated with approved sports federations, excluding school federations;
  • non-affiliated sports associations benefiting from the approval provided for in Article L. 121-4 of the Sports Code;
  • associations offering a sporting activity and benefiting from the approval provided for in Article 8 of the Law of July 17, 2001;
  • for-profit entities falling under NAF codes 9311Z, 9312Z, 9329Z, 9313Z, 8551Z, and 6420Z.

The eligibility of these entities is subject to the signing of a commitment charter proposed by the ministry in charge of sports.

Practical Arrangements

The aid takes the form of a unique code generated automatically and sent to the relevant beneficiaries. Requests for codes for beneficiaries who have not received them or have lost them must be made before December 31, 2026, via a digital procedure. No request made or completed after this date will be admissible.

Sports structures may request reimbursement of the discount from the services of the minister in charge of sports until December 31, 2026, via the website “lecompteasso.associations.gouv.fr”. The National Family Allowance Fund (Caisse nationale des allocations familiales), the Central Fund for Agricultural Social Mutual Insurance (Caisse centrale de la mutualité sociale agricole), the National Center for University and School Works (Centre national des œuvres universitaires et scolaires), and the Social Providence Fund of Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon (Caisse de prévoyance sociale de Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon) transmit the data relating to the beneficiaries to the ministry. The Services and Payment Agency (Agence de services et de paiement) ensures, on behalf of the State, the administrative and financial management of the scheme.

A Measure with High Social Impact

By renewing this scheme for the 2026-2027 season, the government maintains a concrete lever for access to sport for young people from modest households and people with disabilities. By reducing the cost of membership or licensing, the Pass’Sport aims to remove one of the main financial barriers to sporting practice, while supporting the associations and structures concerned. Beneficiaries are invited to check their eligibility and use their code before December 31, 2026.
