Por FactBox Admin

The Carballiño City Council is calling for 7,000 euros in grants for non-profit cultural associations and institutions in the municipality to finance cultural and sociocultural animation activities during the year 2026. The call, processed under a competitive bidding regime, is announced in the summary of bases published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ourense on October 2, 2026, in section IV. Local Entities, with the identifier BDNS 930266. Each entity may receive a maximum of 3,000 euros and will have one month to submit its application.
Legal framework and object of the call
The summary is published in accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Law on Subsidies, the regulation that governs the publicity procedure for aid calls from public administrations. The full text of the bases is available to interested entities in the National Database of Subsidies, accessible through the portal infosubvenciones.es with call number 930266.
The declared objective of the bases is to regulate the granting of subsidies to cultural associations and institutions in the municipality of Carballiño, intended for the realization of cultural and sociocultural animation activities for the year 2026. The resolution is dated September 18, 2026, and is signed by the acting mayor, Rafael Castro-Gil Seijas, with registration number R. 2.238.
Who can apply and how much money is available
- Total amount allocated in the municipal budget: 7,000 euros.
- Maximum aid per beneficiary: 3,000 euros.
- Beneficiaries: legally constituted non-profit cultural associations and institutions.
- Registered office: in the municipality of Carballiño.
- Registration: in the Municipal Registry of Associations, with a minimum seniority of six months.
The grants will be compatible with other subsidies granted for the same purpose, provided that the total amount of all of them does not exceed 100% of the investment planned for the activities subject to the subsidy. In this way, entities can combine several sources of financing without the sum exceeding the actual cost of the subsidized activity.
One-month deadline to submit applications
The deadline for submitting applications is one month, counted from the day following the publication of this summary in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ourense, once the corresponding communication has been made in the National Database of Subsidies. Entities wishing to compete for the distribution of funds must formalize their request within this period.
The call distributes the 7,000 euros under a competitive bidding regime, meaning among all applications that meet the requirements and based on the criteria set out in the rules, and not in order of submission. The limit of 3,000 euros per beneficiary implies that, at minimum, three entities can receive aid if the applications submitted exhaust the available credit.
The publication in the provincial bulletin is the effective starting point of the deadline, therefore the cultural associations of the municipality must have the documentation accrediting their constitution, registered office, and registration in the municipal registry prepared before the established month passes.
The call responds to the need for financing of the local associative fabric, which depends largely on this type of aid to sustain cultural and sociocultural animation programming throughout the year. With a deadline limit of one month and a maximum of 3,000 euros per entity, the distribution of the 7,000 euros will condition the associative cultural activity of Carballiño during 2026.
