Nules announces two vacancies for General Administration Technician

The Nules City Council has approved the call and the regulatory bases for the selection process for the permanent filling of two General Administration Technician (TAG) positions, through a competitive examination system (concurso-oposición), as well as the creation of a temporary job bank. The decision was adopted by Decree 2026-2939, dated July 31, 2026, signed by Mayor David García Pérez, and published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Castellón number 104, dated August 29, 2026, with reference 03848-2026-U and file 5415/2026.

The positions belong to the General Administration Scale, Technical Subscale, Group A, Subgroup A1, and are included in the ordinary Public Employment Offers for the 2025 and 2026 fiscal years. One position is filled via the open track and the other via the reserve track for persons with disabilities, with a recognized degree equal to or greater than 33 percent.

Two positions and a job bank

The process is structured into two phases: an examination phase, with a maximum of 90 points, and a merit phase, with a maximum of 10 points. The examination phase consists of three mandatory and eliminatory exercises:

• Exercise 1: a multiple-choice test of 60 questions, valued up to 30 points, with a minimum of 15 to pass.
• Exercise 2: written development of two topics chosen from three drawn by lot, up to 30 points, with mandatory reading before the tribunal.
• Exercise 3: preparation of two reports with a proposed agreement on practical cases, up to 30 points.

In the merit phase, professional experience (up to 5 points) and other merits such as training courses, passing previous selection processes, and knowledge of Valencian (up to 5 points) are valued. The order of appearance for candidates will begin with the letter P.

Requirements, deadline, and fee

To participate, it is necessary to meet the requirements of Article 56 of Royal Legislative Decree 5/2015, including holding a university degree in Law, Political Science, Economics, or Business Administration and Management. Applications shall be submitted electronically through the municipal electronic office, within a period of twenty business days starting from the day following the publication of the announcement in the Official State Gazette.

The examination fees amount to 70.20 euros, without bonuses or exemptions, and payment may be made via POS at the municipal offices or by deposit into the account of Caixa Rural Sant Josep de Nules. Failure to pay within the deadline will be grounds for exclusion from the process.

Probationary appointment and medical examination

Prior to the appointment as a civil servant in training, the proposed person must undergo a medical examination determined by the City Council, to certify that they do not suffer from any illness or limitation that would be incompatible with the exercise of their duties. Once this procedure is completed, the appointment for training will be made for a period of three months, during which capacity and adaptation to the position will be assessed, with the preparation of a training report-memo and the final evaluation by the tribunal.

The job bank will be composed of those who have passed the entire process without obtaining a position or have passed at least the first exercise of the competitive phase. Its validity will be a maximum of three years and will supersede previous job banks of the same category.
