Montoro appoints four career officials of the General Administration

The Montoro City Council has appointed four new career civil servants to the General Administration Scale, Administrative Subscale, Subgroup C1, as part of the consolidation of local public employment. The decision, adopted by Resolution No. 2026/1940 of the Delegated Councilor for Social Welfare, Education, Public Infrastructure, Tourism, and Human Resources, dated August 26, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba number 178, dated September 15, 2026.

The four candidates took possession of their positions on September 1, 2026, after passing the selection processes corresponding to the public employment offers for the 2023, 2024, and 2025 fiscal years.

The new civil servants

The appointed individuals, who join the municipal staff as career civil servants, are as follows:

• Inmaculada Fernández Jabalquinto
• Lucia Prieto Cañete
• Manuela Ojeda Guillén
• José María Mesa Jaenes

All of them access positions in the Administrative Subscale, Subgroup C1, within the General Administration Scale of the Montoro council.

Regulatory framework and procedure

The appointment is part of the stabilization and consolidation policy for local public employment promoted by the City Council, which has been calling for positions through the public employment offers of the 2023, 2024, and 2025 fiscal years. The resolution was signed on August 26 by the Delegated Councilor for the Human Resources area, and the act of taking possession was formalized on September 1.

The announcement, signed on September 4 by the Mayor, María Dolores Amo Camino, is made public “for general knowledge” of the citizens, in accordance with the provisions of the public service regulations.

Relevance for the municipality

The incorporation of these four career civil servants reinforces the administrative structure of the Montoro City Council, stably replacing positions that in many cases had been filled on an interim or temporary basis. With this consolidation, the council gains stability and continuity in the management of municipal services, while fulfilling the commitments of the public employment offers of the last three fiscal years.
