Lucena convoca ayudas de 150 euros al transporte para estudiantes de fuera

The Lucena City Council has announced transport grants for young students for the 2026 fiscal year, with a total budget of 23,700.00 euros and an amount of 150.00 euros per applicant. The call is published via the extract of the Mayoral Resolution of Lucena dated October 6, 2026, disseminated in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba number 199, dated October 14, 2026, with reference BOP-A-2026-3473. The deadline for submitting applications is 10 business days from the publication of the announcement in the provincial gazette.

Regulatory Framework and Issuing Body

The call is issued under articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Law on Subsidies, and is registered in the National Database of Subsidies with the identifier 934673. The full text can be consulted on the Edicts Board of the municipal electronic office.

The regulatory bases are the Revised Text of the General Ordinance regulating the Bases for granting subsidies of the Lucena City Council, published in the BOP of Córdoba number 147, dated July 31, 2025. For matters not provided for, Royal Decree 887/2006, of July 21, the 2026 Municipal Budget Execution Bases, and Law 39/2015, of October 1 shall apply.

Applicant Requirements

Students who meet the following may be beneficiaries:

  • Be under 25 years of age and be registered as residents (empadronadas) in Lucena prior to January 1 of the year of the call.
  • Have been enrolled in the 2025/2026 academic year in face-to-face education that requires traveling outside the municipal boundary.
  • The family unit must have a per capita income equal to or less than 80% of the IPREM (referred to 12 payments) of the previous year.
  • Not incur the prohibitions of article 13.2 of Law 38/2003 nor have tax debts or sanctions with the Lucena City Council.

University Undergraduate degrees adapted to the European Higher Education Area, Intermediate and Higher Vocational Training cycles, and special regime education (artistic, sports, and Official Language Schools) are admitted. Non-regulated education, doctorates, specialization studies, official master’s degrees, proprietary degrees, postgraduate degrees from the plan prior to the Bologna Process, and distance learning, including UNED, are excluded.

Those residing in the neighborhoods of Jauja or Navas del Selpillar who have pursued these studies in the center of Lucena may also apply. The required documentation includes the application form, DNI, the collective historical residency certificate, a responsible declaration, the enrollment receipt and proof of payment, the scholarship resolution if applicable, and the document accrediting bank account ownership.

Credit, amount, and award criteria

Economic obligations are charged to budget allocation 331.1523.47200 of the current Municipal Budget, with a maximum total amount of 23,700.00 euros. In accordance with Article 58 of Royal Decree 887/2006, an additional amount of up to 5,000.00 euros is contemplated, the application of which will not require a new call and will be subject to the declaration of credit availability.

If the applications meeting the requirements exceed the maximum credit, they will be ordered based on the lowest per capita income of the family unit and, in the event of a tie, by the order of the entry registry. If correction is required, the order will depend on the date on which this is correctly completed.

Closing

The call reinforces municipal support for families with fewer resources whose sons and daughters must travel daily outside of Lucena to pursue formal studies, a recurring expense that the 150 euro aid partially alleviates. The budgetary support of 23,700 euros, expandable by an additional 5,000, sets the ceiling for beneficiaries of this edition, meaning the per capita income criterion will be decisive in the award.
