Logrosán convoca una plaza fija de encargado de logística y mantenimiento

The Logrosán City Council has opened the selection process to fill a permanent full-time position as Logistics, Maintenance, and Cleaning Supervisor, through a competitive examination and merit system. The call is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cáceres no. 0192, dated October 7, 2026, with official reference BOP-2026-4693, and is signed by the mayor-president Julio A. Roldán Masa.

The regulatory bases were approved by Mayoral decree number 2026-0384, dated October 6, 2026, and occupy pages 22934 to 22941 of Section I (Local Administration) of the provincial gazette. The position is for permanent contractual staff, and the selection will be processed under the principles of equality, merit, capacity, and publicity, with the stated objective of providing the Council with a versatile manager for its operational services.

A versatile position for municipal services

The supervisor will assume responsibility for the logistics, distribution, and organization of municipal warehouses, including the purchase of products, tools, and materials for general maintenance, works, gardening, painting, and cleaning. Their duties include:

  • Control and management of cleaning personnel for municipal buildings and public roads, including the supply of products.
  • Responsibility for the Municipal Recycling Center (Punto Limpio).
  • Responsibility for the Municipal Cleaning and Disinfection Center for Vehicles used for the transport of live animals.
  • Organization and logistics of events such as Christmas, Carnival, Holy Week, municipal festivals, and outings.
  • Daily disconnection of the City Council alarms and small repairs in municipal facilities.
  • Support for the cemetery manager regarding repair and cleaning materials.
  • Use of the necessary computer programs and equipment.

Requirements and submission of applications

Applicants must meet the requirements by the end of the submission deadline. Requirements include Spanish nationality or nationality of a European Union member state, being over 16 years of age, a minimum qualification of Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO), a type B driver’s license, and a pesticide applicator or handler’s license for livestock use issued by the Junta de Extremadura. Total availability to work weekends, holidays, and the month of August is also required.

Applications must follow the model in Annex I and be addressed to the mayor-president, accompanied by a copy of the ID (DNI), qualification, driver’s license, and pesticide license, as well as documentation accrediting merits. The deadline is 10 business days from the publication of the summary of the call in the Official State Gazette (BOE), and the examination fees amount to 12 euros.

Two eliminatory tests and a merit phase

The competitive examination phase consists of two mandatory and eliminatory exercises. The first is a questionnaire of 20 multiple-choice questions, with four alternatives, to be answered in writing within 30 minutes based on the syllabus in Annex II; each correct answer is worth 0.50 points and each error subtracts 0.10, with a minimum of 5 points required to pass the test. The second consists of two practical exercises related to the functions of the position, graded together from 0 to 10 points, with the same minimum score of 5.

The merit phase evaluates experience and training, with a maximum of 5 points:

  • Experience: 0.30 points for each month worked in a similar position in a public administration, up to 3 points.
  • Training: 1 point for an occupational risk prevention course in the construction sector of 60 or more hours.
  • Training: 1 point for holding a type C driver’s license.

Qualifying Tribunal and process publicity

The Qualifying Tribunal will be composed of five members, with an equal number of substitutes, all public employees with a qualification equal to or higher than that required for the position. It consists of a president and a secretary appointed by the Mayor’s Office and three members, also of municipal appointment. The most representative trade union centers may send observers with a voice but no vote.

Once the process is completed, the Tribunal will publish the list of successful candidates in order of score on the notice board and will submit the appointment proposal to the mayor-president. The rules are published in full in the BOP of Cáceres, on the physical notice board of the City Council, and on the municipal electronic office, and the call for applications may be challenged in accordance with Law 39/2015, of October 2.

The call for applications reinforces the permanent staff of the Logrosán City Council in a key area for the daily operation of the municipality, as the position coordinates warehouses, cleaning, the recycling center, and local events. For interested residents, the application period begins with the publication of the summary in the Official State Gazette, so it is advisable to prepare the required documentation in advance.
