Provisional list of admitted candidates for the C1 Administrative Body in the Canary Islands

Por FactBox Admin

The General Directorate of the Civil Service of the Ministry of Presidency, Public Administrations, Justice and Security has approved and ordered the publication of the provisional list of persons admitted and excluded from the selective tests to enter, via the general open access system, the Administrative Corps (Group C, Subgroup C1) of the Public Administration of the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands. This is stated in the Resolution of August 26, 2026, published in the Official Gazette of the Canary Islands (BOC) no. 176, of September 2, 2026 (page 33780).

The call for these tests was made via Resolution of March 13, 2026 (BOC no. 57, of 3.24.2026), in execution of the Public Employment Offer of 2023, approved by Decree 439/2023, of December 18, to which positions from the Public Employment Offers of 2024 and 2025, approved by Decree 207/2024, of December 16, and Decree 188/2025, of December 15, respectively, are accumulated.

Positions called

The positions called amount to a total of fifty-seven (57), distributed between the general shift and the disability shift:

  • 46 positions for the general shift.
  • 11 positions for the disability shift.
  • The breakdown by accumulated PEP: 38 positions from the 2023 PEP (32 general and 6 disability), 6 from the 2024 PEP (4 and 2) and 13 from the 2025 PEP (10 and 3).

List consultation and correction

The provisional list, containing the application number, surnames and names, anonymized ID (DNI), and the status of admitted or excluded, is published alongside the Resolution on the website of the General Directorate of the Civil Service, which can be consulted via the selective processes link of the electronic headquarters of the Government of the Canary Islands.

Persons listed as excluded will have a period of ten (10) business days, counting from the day following the publication in the BOC, to correct the defects in their applications. Those who appear neither as admitted nor as excluded will have the same period to present allegations.

  • Corrections and allegations must be submitted exclusively through the specific procedure form in the electronic headquarters.
  • If the defect is not corrected within the deadline, the person will be considered to have withdrawn and will be definitively excluded.
  • Those who do not appear on the list and do not come forward will forfeit their right to the procedure without the possibility of subsequent allegation.

Causes for exclusion

The Resolution includes an annex with the “Explanatory Table of the Causes for Exclusion”, which details the most frequent reasons and the method for their correction:

  • Being under 16 years of age or exceeding the compulsory retirement age.
  • Failure to provide the resolution or certification of a degree of disability equal to or greater than 33% for the reserved quota.
  • Discrepancy between the number of form 700 and the one indicated in the application.
  • Failure to prove payment of fees or failure to provide form 700.
  • Having submitted a form 700 corresponding to another call for applications.
  • Already belonging to the same Body, Scale, or Specialty being called (non-rectifiable).
  • Claiming bonuses or exemptions not applicable to this call.

Inclusion in the list of admitted candidates does not imply recognition that all requirements are met, the verification of which will be carried out via a responsible declaration and, subsequently, only for the persons selected and proposed for appointment. The Resolution is signed by the Director General of the Civil Service, Francisco Javier Rodríguez del Castillo, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, on August 26, 2026.

This publication is of great relevance for the thousands of candidates aspiring to one of the 57 positions in the Administrative Body, a process that accumulates positions from three consecutive Public Employment Offers. Reviewing one’s personal status and strict compliance with the ten-business-day rectification period are decisive to avoid losing the opportunity to participate in the tests.
