Tender for nursing controls in the UMEs of the Dr. Esquerdo Center

The Provincial Council of Alicante has initially approved the project for the adaptation of the nursing station of UME A and the creation of a new one in UME B of the psychosocial rehabilitation building of the Dr. Esquerdo Center, in Sant Joan d’Alacant. The decision was adopted by Decree No. 3174, dated July 13, 2026, from the Deputy for Culture, Procurement, and International Residents, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Alicante on September 1, 2026 (document 2026_006728). The file is now open for allegations for a period of twenty days.

A project of 90,504.81 euros

The action, officially titled “Basic and execution project for the adaptation of the nursing station of UME A and the creation of a new one in UME B of the psychosocial rehabilitation building at calle Ramón de Campoamor, 24, 03550 Sant Joan d’Alacant,” has a global tender budget of 90,504.81 euros. The competent body acts by virtue of the powers delegated by the Presidency through resolution no. 3328, dated July 28, 2023, published in the BOP no. 150 of August 4, 2023.

Period for allegations and file consultation

The project is submitted for public information for allegations for twenty days starting from the day following the publication of the announcement in the official gazette, without prejudice to its dissemination on the virtual notice board of the Council’s Electronic Office. During this period, the document may be examined at:

• The Doctor Esquerdo Center, calle Ramón de Campoamor, no. 25, Sant Joan d’Alacant, during public office hours from Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• The Transparency Portal of the Provincial Council of Alicante, in the Legal Information / Documents Exposed for Public Information / Citizen Participation section.

Legal framework

The procedure is based on Article 93 of Royal Legislative Decree 781/1986, of April 18, which approves the revised text of the legal provisions in force regarding the Local Regime, and Article 134 of Royal Decree 1098/2001, of October 12, which approves the General Regulation of the Public Administration Contracts Law, in accordance with Article 83.2 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations. If no allegations are presented within the deadline, the project will be considered definitively approved.

The improvement of the nursing stations in the medium-stay units of the Dr. Esquerdo Center will enhance the quality of care at a reference mental health center in the province, and the opening of the file to citizen participation guarantees the transparency of the process before its final award.
