Por FactBox Admin

The Ledaña City Council has definitively approved budgetary modification no. 7/2026, in the form of an extraordinary credit, for a total amount of 23,000 euros. The agreement, adopted as no allegations were presented during the public exhibition process, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cuenca number 103, dated September 7, 2026, page 20, under number 2106.
The decision is framed within the provisions of Article 169, by reference to 179.4, of the Recast Text of the Law Regulating Local Treasuries, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of March 5. The announcement, signed by the mayor-president María Clara Plaza Giménez, is disseminated for the general knowledge of the citizenry.
Destination of the extraordinary credit
The 23,000 euros are divided among three expenditure applications, all of which are destined for replacement investments and improvement of municipal services:
- Parks and gardens (program 171, economic 619): 14,500 euros for other replacement investments in infrastructure and assets intended for general use.
- Primary social assistance (program 231, economic 623): 7,500 euros for machinery, technical installations, and tooling.
- Sports facilities (program 342, economic 623): 1,000 euros for machinery, technical installations, and tooling.
Financing through reductions of other items
The extraordinary credit is financed entirely through cancellations or reductions of credits from other expenditure applications, for the same amount of 23,000 euros:
- Other infrastructures (program 459, economic 619): 1,000 euros in replacement investments in infrastructure and assets intended for general use.
- Operation of preschool and primary education centers and special education (program 323, economic 619): 22,000 euros in replacement investments in infrastructure and assets intended for general use.
In this way, the operation is budgetarily neutral, with no net increase in the total expenditure of the council.
Appeal period
An administrative-law appeal may be filed against the agreement before the Administrative Chamber of the High Court of Justice of Castilla-La Mancha, within a period of two months counting from the day of the publication of the announcement, in accordance with Article 46 of Law 29/1998, of July 13, of the Administrative-Law Jurisdiction. However, according to Article 171.3 of the Recast Text of Local Treasuries, the filing of the appeal shall not by itself suspend the effectiveness of the challenged agreement.
The approval of this extraordinary credit allows Ledaña to address replacement needs in parks, social services, and sports facilities without resorting to new debt, by reorganizing already allocated items. Publication in the official bulletin provides publicity and legal certainty to the agreement, which becomes final as no objections were filed.
