Álava publishes the 2026 collective agreement for IDEC Composites

The Official Gazette of the Historical Territory of Álava (BOTHA), in issue number 99 on Monday, August 31, 2026, publishes the resolution of the territorial delegate of Labor and Social Security of Álava by which the collective agreement of IDEC Ingeniería y Desarrollo de Composites, SL for its work center in Vitoria-Gasteiz is registered and published. The text, with agreement code 01101092012023, was signed by the business representation and the social representation at the negotiating table.

The resolution, signed on July 17, 2026, in Vitoria-Gasteiz by the territorial delegate of Álava, Ibon López Aldaz, orders the registration of the agreement in the Álava territorial section of the Registry of Agreements, Collective Labor Agreements, and Equality Plans, and its publication in the BOTHA. This competence is exercised in accordance with article 90.2 of the revised text of the Workers’ Statute Law and article 18.2.g of Decree 323/2024, of November 5.

Scope and Validity

The agreement applies to all employees of the Vitoria-Gasteiz center, including middle management (section heads, managers, and administrative staff), with the exception of directors, and also to newly hired personnel. Its validity spans from January 1 to December 31, 2026, with tacit extension until a new agreement is reached and indefinite ultra-activity once terminated.

  • Termination of the agreement: by September 30, 2026.
  • Constitution of the new negotiating table: within a period of 3 months from the receipt of the communication.
  • 2026 working day: 1,720 hours/year, with a regular distribution of 100% of the working day.

Salary Conditions

The agreed salary increase for 2026 is Spain CPI 2025 + 0.1 (3 percent), applied to all salary concepts. Annual remuneration is paid in 14 monthly installments (12 regular and 2 extraordinary). The minimum salary tables by category are:

  • Specialist: €24,068.57.
  • Official 3: €25,873.71.
  • Official 2 B: €26,889.86.
  • Official 2 A: €28,043.04.
  • Official 1 B: €31,092.74.
  • Official 1 A: €34,309.23.

Among the updated bonuses for 2026 are those for night shifts (€21.85/night), recounting (€18.81/day), sealants (€116.50/month), ultrasound (€142.05/month), management (€454.56/month), and diversity (€50/month). The use of a private vehicle is paid at €0.44/km, and travel supplements with overnight stays amount to €22.95/day for national travel and €28.41/day for international travel.

Social Protection and Prevention

The agreement provides for occupational accident insurance with the entity AXA Aurora Vida, Sociedad Anónima de Seguros y Reaseguros (policy 59.018.054), with insured capitals of up to €140,000 for accidental death. The company commits to registering the workforce with the Fundación Laboral San Prudencio, and a digital disconnection protocol is planned before June 30, 2026.

Regarding occupational risk prevention, a mandatory and free annual medical check-up during working hours is guaranteed, and prevention delegates will have a monthly hourly credit of 10 hours. The agreement prohibits all discrimination based on gender or age and establishes a training plan with a joint commission to be constituted before December 31, 2026.

Publication in the BOTHA provides publicity and legal effectiveness to the agreement, which regulates the working conditions of the composites workforce in Vitoria-Gasteiz during 2026. For the center’s workers, the agreement clearly defines their remuneration, working hours, permits, and social guarantees, and lays the groundwork for the negotiation of the next agreement, which must begin this autumn.
