Salary scales for dentists in Castellón rise by 2.9%

The Official Gazette of the Province of Castellón number 111, dated September 15, 2026, publishes the minutes of the joint commission of the Collective Agreement for the Dentist and Stomatologist Sector of the province of Castellón (code 12101065012025), approving the salary tables for the year 2026 with an increase of 2.9% over those of 2025.

The registration and publication were ordered by the Territorial Directorate of Housing, Employment, Youth and Equality, under the First Vice-Presidency and Department of Housing, Employment, Youth and Equality, by resolution dated September 1, 2026, signed by the territorial director José Luis Chiva Cabedo (reference 03977-2026).

An increase linked to the CPI

The joint commission meeting was held on April 20, 2026, via videoconference, with the attendance of the employer side and the two trade union centers. Article 42 of the agreement sets for 2026 an increase of two percentage points provided that the CPI is lower, and the application of the CPI if it exceeds 2%, with a limit of 3.5%.

For the employer side, Employers’ Association of the Collective Agreement for Dentists and Stomatologists of the province of Castellón, represented by Priscila Miravet López.
For the social side, FSS-CCOO-PV, represented by Ana Mª Sánchez Torres.
For FeSP-UGT-PV, represented by Miguel Ángel García Martínez.

Supplement to match the SMI

The agreement incorporates a salary supplement for workers whose salaries, on an annual basis, are lower than the minimum interprofessional wage (SMI) established by Royal Decree 126/2026, of February 18, provided that in no case shall an annual amount lower than 17,094 euros be considered. Said supplement will be paid divided into 12 monthly installments.

New tables and professional reclassification

The 2026 salary tables, included in Annex I of the minutes, are structured by levels within healthcare and non-healthcare personnel:

Managing Dentist: €2,288.00/month (€32,032.00/year).
Dentist: €1,927.22/month (€26,981.08/year).
Nurse: €1,482.72/month (€20,758.08/year).
Dental Hygienist: €1,319.62/month (€18,474.69/year).
Nursing Assistant/TCAE: €1,203.50/month (€16,849.00/year).
Administrative Staff: €1,364.10/month (€19,097.40/year).
Administrative Assistant and Cleaning/Maintenance: €1,203.50/month (€16,849.00/year).
Triennials: €25.33/month (€354.62/year).

Likewise, the adjustment of the professional classification is agreed upon, equating categories by groups and declaring some of them (1st, 2nd, and 3rd year assistants, administrative head, official, administrative official, and assistant) as categories to be phased out upon the expiration of current contracts.

The publication of these tables guarantees the effective application of the agreement throughout the dental sector of the province, updating worker remuneration and ensuring that no salary falls below the current national minimum wage.
