The Official Gazette of La Rioja publishes the 2025-2029 collective bargaining agreement of the company Policlínico Riojano Nuestra Señora de Valvanera, S.A., which sets the working conditions of the staff of the healthcare centre that the company operates in Logroño. The text is published in issue 155, of 14 August 2026, pursuant to Resolution 674/2026, of 30 July, of the Directorate-General for Labour and Occupational Health, with official reference BOR-A-20260814-III–3194.
The agreement was signed on 10 July 2026 by the employer representation and the staff delegates, and has been registered in the Register of collective agreements, collective bargaining agreements and equality plans of the directorate under code 26000332011983. Its term extends from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2029, and its economic effects are retroactive to 1 January 2025, regardless of the date of publication.
The publication is based on Articles 90.2 and 90.3 of Royal Legislative Decree 2/2015, of 23 October, approving the consolidated text of the Workers’ Statute Act, and on Royal Decree 713/2010, of 28 May, on the registration and deposit of collective agreements and collective bargaining agreements. The resolution, issued in Logroño on 30 July 2026, is signed by the Director General, Pilar Simón Estefanía, within the framework of the Regional Ministry of Economy, Innovation, Enterprise and Self-Employment.
Scope and validity
The agreement applies to the workplace at Calle Ramón y Cajal in Logroño, dedicated to hospitalisation, care and consultation, in both inpatient and outpatient settings. It covers all workers, whether permanent, interim, casual or temporary, and the centre’s eight professional groups, from management staff to general services.
Salary increase schedule
The tables in Annex I set the base salary for each professional category for the five years of validity. The agreed increases are as follows:
- Year 2025: 3.8%
- Year 2026: 3.9%
- Year 2027: 3.5%
- Year 2028: 4%
- Year 2029: 4.5%
As a reference, the annual salary of the Medical Director goes from 26,743.61 euros in 2025 to 28,759.14 euros in 2027, while that of Nursing Assistant rises from 17,354.06 to 18,661.94 euros in the same period. The supplementary payments table for 2026 includes a flat salary supplement of 923.90 euros, a nursing supplement of 431.39 euros, one for physiotherapy of 215.70 euros and another for supervision of 372.80 euros.
Working hours, overtime and rights
The ordinary working year is set at 1,752 hours for all staff, with the possibility of irregular working hours agreed with workers’ representatives. Overtime hours are paid at a 75% increase over the value of the ordinary hour or are compensated with rest time, and up to 74 hours per year of voluntary supplementary activity are foreseen on public holidays to improve patient care.
The text creates a Joint Committee for interpretation, conciliation and application, made up of the works council and an equal number of company representatives. It also regulates training, with a paid leave of twenty hours per year, emergency plans with drills at least annually, and the time credit for union representatives, from 15 to 20 hours per month depending on the size of the workforce.
Extension and non-application
If the agreement is not denounced with at least one month’s notice, it will be automatically extended; in the event of denunciation, the wage tables will be increased by 0.85% of the base salary for each year of ultra-activity. The clause of non-application of the salary regime may only be activated if significant harm to the economic stability of the company is proven, with the intervention of the Labour Court of La Rioja in the event of disagreement.
Upon its publication, the agreement acquires regulatory effect for the next five years and provides certainty to the workforce of one of the reference private healthcare centres in Logroño, in a sector in which labour stability is key.
