La Rioja announces 50,000 euros in grants for social rental housing

The Government of La Rioja has announced 50,000 euros in grants intended for non-profit entities that manage social rental housing in the autonomous community. The call is approved by Resolution 833/2026, dated October 15, of the Department of Local Policy, Infrastructure, and the Fight against Depopulation, and its summary is published in the Official Gazette of La Rioja number 203, dated October 21, 2026, with the official reference III.3981. The deadline for submitting applications is very tight: it concludes on October 30, 2026.

The call is based on the regulatory bases established by Order 6/2017, dated October 25, of the Department of Development and Territorial Policy, which establishes the regime for these social rental grants. Beneficiaries and application deadline

• Requirements: those of article 4 of Order 6/2017, dated October 25.

50,000 euros charged to the 2026 fiscal year

The call resolution approves an amount of 50,000 euros, charged to the 2026 fiscal year and budget item 09.04.2611.482.02. The maximum individualized amount of each grant is determined in article 7 of the regulatory order, such that the distribution among entities will depend on the score obtained by each application.

The instruction and processing of the file will be carried out in accordance with articles 12 and 13 of Order 6/2017. The resolution of the procedure will detail the beneficiaries in order of score, with the detail of the score and the total amount granted, and will provide reasoned grounds for the applications that are ultimately not granted.

Mandatory electronic submission

The standardized application form appears as Annex I of the resolution and is available on the website www.larioja.org. The submission, together with the required documentation, must be carried out electronically according to article 14 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, through the electronic office of the Government of La Rioja, in the Electronic Office section.

The call arrives with a margin of barely ten days for the interested entities, which must gather the application and all supporting documentation within that time.
