Por FactBox Admin

The Official Gazette of La Rioja publishes in issue number 173, dated September 9, 2026, the extract of Resolution 42/2026, of September 3, from the Department of Health and Social Policies, which opens the second call for grants under the 2026 Corresponsables Plan. The allocation amounts to 696,000 euros, charged to the Department’s Expenditure Budget for the 2026 financial year, and is distributed linearly among the 174 municipalities of the community.
The call, registered in the National Grants Database with codes BDNS 913992 and 913993, is aimed at municipalities and associations of municipalities (mancomunidades) that enable professional care and attention services for minors up to 16 years of age, within the framework of the regulatory bases of Order IPA/53/2021, of September 13, as amended by Order IPA/24/2022, of May 19.
Purpose and amount of the grants
Activities or projects that comply with the order and the call resolution and are executed between October 15, 2026, and April 15, 2027, will be eligible for subsidies. Funding is granted linearly to the 174 municipalities, with an amount of 4,000 euros per entity based on the available credit.
- The amount guarantees all municipalities the minimum funding to execute at least one or two work-life balance and care projects.
- The projects are oriented toward the Christmas and Easter school holiday periods.
- The resolution incorporates the maximum amount corresponding to each municipality.
Beneficiaries and submission of applications
Municipalities and associations of municipalities that do not fall under the prohibitions of Article 13 of Decree 14/2006, of February 16, which regulates the legal regime of subsidies in the public sector of La Rioja, may be beneficiaries. The deadline for submitting applications will be ten business days starting from the day following the publication of the extract in the gazette.
- Applications are submitted electronically through the Government of La Rioja portal, completing Annex I.
- Along with the application, the documentation from Article 8.3 of the regulatory order must be provided, including Annexes II, III, and IV.
- If an association of municipalities submits the application, the municipalities that comprise it may not submit it individually.
- Funding for several projects may be requested in a single application, without exceeding the maximum assigned amount.
Granting and justification
The grant will be awarded on a non-competitive basis through distribution, in accordance with Article 7 of the order. Beneficiary entities must submit the supporting documentation required by Article 12 of Order IPA/53/2021 as projects are completed, with a deadline of May 11, 2027; for projects executed with own resources through the hiring of personnel, the deadline to certify the payment of Social Security contributions is set for May 27, 2027.
The resolution, signed in Logroño on September 3, 2026, by the Councilor for Health and Social Policies, María Martín Díez de Baldeón, reinforces the community’s commitment to work-life balance, ensuring that no municipality in La Rioja is left without resources to provide childcare during periods of greatest need.
