The Junta hires a permanent educator for the Zaytum residence in Linares

The General Directorate of Human Resources and Public Service of the Regional Government of Andalusia has agreed to the hiring as permanent labor personnel in the professional category of “Educator” of Ms. Sandra Delgado Sarmiento, with provisional assignment to the Zaytum Residence for Severely Affected Persons in Linares. The decision is formalized through the Resolution of August 28, 2026, published in the Official Gazette of the Regional Government of Andalusia (BOJA) number 173, of September 7, 2026, in the section for appointments, situations, and incidents.

The hiring is part of the process for the stabilization of temporary employment promoted by the Andalusian administration, which allows for the conversion of temporarily occupied positions into permanent ones. The awarded position, with code 318520 “Educator,” is assigned to the Territorial Delegation of the Ministry of Social Services, Families, and Equality in Jaén.

Regulatory Framework

The resolution is issued in accordance with the twenty-eighth additional provision of Law 5/2023, of June 7, on the Public Service of Andalusia, and with the provisions of the eleventh base of the Resolution of July 18, 2025 (BOJA no. 141, of July 24). The filling of the position responds to the Agreement of the Selection Commission for the “Educator” category of May 22, 2026, which made public the list of applicants for additional positions.

The procedure is further supported by Article 122 of Law 5/2023 and Article 115 of Decree 51/2025, of February 24, which regulates the planning and organization of public employment. The competence of the General Directorate is supported by Decree 203/2026, of July 30, which establishes the organic structure of the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence, Digital Development, and Public Administration.

Hiring Conditions

The successful applicant must formalize the permanent labor contract before the corresponding Provincial General Secretariat within a period of ten business days from the publication of the resolution. The effects of the contract shall begin the day following the end of that period.

• Failure to appear without justified cause will result in withdrawal and the annulment of all proceedings of the process.
• The contract will include a two-month probationary period, pursuant to Article 19 of the VI Collective Agreement for Labor Personnel of the Administration of the Regional Government of Andalusia, unless the same functions have been performed for an equivalent period.
• The management center assigned to the position will promote the registry entries before the General Personnel Registry through the SIRhUS application.

Appeals and Signature

An appeal against this resolution may be filed before the corresponding Social Section of the Court of First Instance, within a period of two months from its publication, in accordance with Articles 1, 2, and 6 of Law 36/2011, of October 10, regulating social jurisdiction. The resolution was signed in Seville on August 28, 2026, by the Director General, Antonio Parralo Vegazo.

This hiring represents a further step in the reduction of temporary employment in the Andalusian public sector, guaranteeing the job stability of the professionals providing services in the community’s residential social care centers.
