The General Directorate of Human Resources and Civil Service of the Andalusian Regional Government has published in the Official Gazette of the Andalusian Regional Government (BOJA) number 158, of August 17, 2026, four resolutions agreeing to the hiring of permanent labor personnel and the assignment of provisional posts in the educational field. The posts, distributed among Almería, Córdoba and Seville, are part of the temporary employment stabilization process provided for in Law 5/2023, of June 7, on the Civil Service of Andalusia.
The resolutions are issued in accordance with the twenty-eighth additional provision of Law 5/2023 and with basis eleven of the Resolution of February 20, 2025 of the General Directorate of Human Resources and Civil Service, published in BOJA No. 38, of February 25. The hired persons come from the lists of applicants approved by the Selection Committees of each category on June 23, 2026, for covering additional posts to those provided for in basis one, section 3, of the aforementioned resolution. The agreements, signed by the Director General Antonio Parralo Vegazo, fall under the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence, Digital Development and Public Administration.
Four categories, four destinations
The hirings affect professional categories linked to educational care and technical services:
- María Victoria Álvarez Garrido, senior early childhood education technician, assigned to the Norias Daza Children’s School (San Agustín, El Ejido, Almería), under the Territorial Delegation of the Ministry of Education in Almería (resolution of August 7, p. 11095, ref. 00342325).
- Isabel Pérez Ruiz, technical staff in social integration, assigned to the E.O.E. Córdoba Poniente-Villarrubia (Córdoba), Territorial Delegation of the Ministry of Education in Córdoba (resolution of August 7, p. 11104, ref. 00342334).
- Inmaculada Sánchez Espejo, school residence monitor (technical staff in sociocultural integration), assigned to the La Aduana School Residence (Córdoba) (resolution of August 12, p. 11106, ref. 00342336).
- Carlos Gustavo Morilla Gámez, head of technical services and/or maintenance, assigned to the Territorial Delegation of the Ministry of Housing, Youth and Territorial Planning in Seville (resolution of August 7, p. 11093, ref. 00342323).
The successful applicants must appear before the corresponding Provincial General Secretariat within ten business days from the day following publication in the BOJA to formalize the permanent employment contract. The effects of the contract begin on the day following the end of that period, and failure to appear without justified cause constitutes withdrawal and annulment of all actions in the procedure.
The contract will include, in accordance with Article 19 of the VI Collective Agreement for Labor Personnel of the Administration of the Junta de Andalucía, a one-month probationary period, unless the person has already performed the same functions within the scope of the agreement for an equivalent period. The directing centers will promote registry registrations with the General Personnel Registry through the SIRhUS application.
Regulatory framework and appeals
The contracting is based on Article 122 of Law 5/2023 and Article 115 of Decree 51/2025, of 24 February, which regulates the planning and organization of public employment, as well as on Article 8.2.k) of Decree 203/2026, of 30 July, on the organizational structure of the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence, Digital Development and Public Administration. Appeals against the resolutions may be filed as a claim before the Social Division of the corresponding Court of Instance, in accordance with Articles 1, 2 and 6 of Law 36/2011, of 10 October, regulating the social jurisdiction, within two months from their publication.
With these four resolutions, the Junta de Andalucía takes another step in consolidating temporary employment in the Andalusian education system, converting into permanent positions that until now were covered provisionally. For workers, it means job stability and professional career, and for the educational centers and affected services, the guarantee of having consolidated staff for the next academic year.
