The Generalitat corrects the DANA-affected municipalities in the Youth Rent Voucher

The First Vice-Presidency and Department of Housing, Employment, Youth and Equality has corrected the material errors in the resolution approving the regulatory bases and the 2026 call for the Youth Rent Voucher. The rectification is published in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana (DOGV) no. 10457, dated September 23, 2026, and modifies the list of municipalities affected by the DANA included in Annex I. The official document carries the reference DOGV-C-2026-29862.

The corrected resolution is that of August 18, 2026, published in DOGV no. 10434, dated August 21, 2026, by which the regulatory bases and the call for the Youth Rent Voucher for the 2026 financial year were jointly approved. The correction is adopted under Article 109.2 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the common administrative procedure of public administrations, and was signed in València on September 21, 2026, by the first vice-president and regional minister, Susana Camarero Benítez.

This is not the first rectification of this call: on August 31, 2026, DOGV no. 10440 published another correction of errors (DOGV-C-2026-27605) which brought forward the start date of the required proof of payment from May 1, 2025, to January 1, 2025.

Four more municipalities on the DANA list

The only change in this second correction affects Annex I, section 1, which establishes the delimitation of areas and the maximum limits for rental income or the price of use assignment. The new wording incorporates four localities that were not in the original list:

• Carcaixent
• Chera
• Cheste
• Chiva

With these additions, the list of municipalities affected by the DANA increases from 98 to 102 localities, all of them in the province of València.

What this implies for applicants

The municipalities included in this list enjoy a higher rent limit than the rest of the areas: up to 800 euros per month (9,600 euros per year) for home rentals and 400 euros per month (4,800 euros per year) for room rentals. This threshold is identical to that of the stressed areas of Alicante and Castellón de la Plana (ATPMS A-2) and higher than that of zones B, C-1, C-2, and A.

The correction does not alter the rest of the call: the aid remains 250 euros per month, for people up to and including 35 years of age, with household unit income not exceeding three times the IPREM, and a maximum term of two years (6,000 euros divided into 24 monthly payments).

A call for 29.8 million euros

• Total amount: 29,800,000.00 euros.
• 22,800,000 euros from funds transferred by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Agenda.
• 7,000,000 euros charged to the Generalitat’s own financing.
• Grant line S1897, managing center G01140201GE00000.
• Application submission period: 15 business days from the day following the publication of the call summary.
• Period to resolve and notify: three months.

The DANA list is linked to the wind and rain storm that began on October 29, 2024, whose victims may combine the voucher with the urgent rental aid from Decree 167/2024, of November 12.

The rectification takes immediate effect and increases the number of young people who can benefit from the more favorable income limits provided for the areas hit by the DANA. For applicants from Carcaixent, Chera, Cheste, and Chiva, the correction may be decisive: without it, their contracts would have been subject to lower income thresholds and they could have been excluded from the aid.
