The Provincial Council of Córdoba approves the guidelines for a Drafter position

The Provincial Council of Córdoba has approved the rules governing the call to fill one position for Draftsman (Group B) through the internal promotion system, reserved for the career civil servants of the institution itself. The agreement was adopted by the provincial Governing Board in an ordinary session held on September 22, 2026. The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba no. 190, dated October 1, 2026, with the official reference BOP-A-2026-3252.

The purpose of the call is the approval of the general and specific rules that will govern the provision of one (1) position in the category of Draftsman, through internal promotion, for civil service personnel in the Provincial Council of Córdoba. The position is included in the 2023 Public Employment Offer, published in the Official Gazette of the province of Córdoba no. 218, dated November 16, 2023, and corresponds to staff number 1060, already recorded in the BOP no. 138, dated July 20, 2026. The announcement is signed by the deputy delegate for Human Resources and Energy, Tatiana Pozo Romero, in Córdoba on September 23, 2026.

The characteristics of the position are as follows:

• Category: Draftsman.
• Group: B.
• Scale: Special Administration.
• Subscale: Technical.
• Class: Auxiliary.
• Vacancies: 1, general shift.
• Reservation for people with disabilities: no reservation.

Requirements reserved for internal staff

Those who meet the following conditions on the closing date of the application period may participate in the selection process:

• Hold the status of career civil servant of Group/Subgroup C1, category Draftsman, belonging to the Special Administration Scale, Technical Subscale, Auxiliary Class, in the Provincial Council of Córdoba.
• Prove a minimum tenure of two years in the position from which they are promoting.
• Be in a status of active service, special services, or any other status that entails the right to reserve a position.
• Possess the functional capacity to perform the usual tasks of the position.
• Hold the title of Higher Technician in Building Projects or Higher Technician in Civil Works Projects, or their equivalents.

Competitive examination with a 60-minute practical case

The selection system will be a competitive examination (concurso-oposición). The examination phase will consist of a single mandatory and eliminatory exercise, consisting of developing a practical case to be chosen from four proposed by the Tribunal, two from Block I and two from Block II. The maximum time for the test will be 60 minutes and will be graded from 0 to 20 points, with a minimum of 10 to pass. The exercise may not begin until two months have passed since the end of the application submission period.

The competition phase will be valued with a maximum of 12 points, according to the scale established in the ninth clause:

• Consolidated personal grade: up to 3.00 points.
• Seniority: 0.10 points per full year of service, up to 3.00 points.
• Training and professional development courses: up to 3.00 points.
• Academic qualifications: up to 2.00 points.
• Other merits, such as teaching courses: up to 1.00 point.

The selection Board will be chaired by the person designated by the head of the Human Resources Delegation, and will include the Secretariat of the Diputación and three members, also to be designated by said Delegation. It is classified in the second category for the purposes of service-related indemnities.

Twenty business days to submit the application

Applicants must address their applications to the Presidency of the Provincial Council of Córdoba within a period of twenty (20) business days starting from the day following the publication of the call in the Official State Gazette. Processing will be carried out exclusively using the official form through the Electronic Office, at the address https://empleo.eprinsa.es/diputacion/empleo, where the self-assessment of the fee is also generated.

Persons with a disability of 33% or more, members of special category large families, and victims of terrorism shall be exempt from the payment of the examination fee; members of general category large families will receive a 50% discount. The syllabus is divided into two blocks: block I, dedicated to AutoCAD (17 topics), and block II, on the geographic information system QGIS (5 topics).

A process affecting the internal career of the staff

The call opens a path for promotion to group B within the organization for the civil servant staff of the Provincial Council of Córdoba, with a single vacancy and a syllabus oriented towards drafting and cartography tools. The process is subject to the published bases, which are final in administrative proceedings and against which an appeal for reversal may be filed within one month or a contentious-administrative appeal within two months. The proposed person must take office within thirty business days from the notification of the appointment.
