La Diputación de Cáceres convoca 21 plazas de Auxiliar Administrativo

The Provincial Council of Cáceres has published in the Official Provincial Gazette no. 0208, dated October 29, 2026, the full and corrected text of the rules for the competitive examination to fill 21 Administrative Assistant positions. The call was approved by resolution of the corporation’s president on October 1, 2026, and rectified on October 22, and is published under the official reference BOP-2026-5048 (pages 24503 to 24527). The application period will be 20 business days starting from the publication of the call announcement in the Official State Gazette.

The process is part of the execution of the 2025 and 2026 Public Employment Offers and affects positions in the General Administration Scale, Administrative Subscale, Assistant Class, Group C, Subgroup C2, of the Council’s civil servant staff. The rules comply with the Revised Text of the Basic Statute of the Public Employee, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 5/2015, and Law 13/2015, of April 8, on the Public Service of Extremadura, following negotiation at the Public Employees Negotiation Table. The framework is complemented by the General Rules approved by resolution of the Presidency on July 27, 2026 (BOP of August 4).

Nineteen open positions and two reserved for people with disabilities

The distribution of positions is established in the first rule, which is precisely the one that was subject to the rectification of errors approved on October 22:

  • 19 positions via the open access track, with codes 19, 32, 104, 125, 171, 191, 205, 243, 287, 347, 361, 496, 625, 657, 1083, 1096, 1308, 1580, and 1668.
  • 2 positions via the disability track, with codes 1724 and 697.

Disability quota positions that are not filled will be transferred to the open access track. For this quota, a degree of disability equal to or greater than 33 percent is required, which must be proven once the process is completed, and those applying through this track may only do so via this route.

Electronic registration, 15 euro fee, and twenty business days

The application must be completed exclusively through the form accessible from the announcement on the website empleo.dip-caceres.es and must be electronically signed before being registered in the Electronic Office. The qualification requirement is to hold a Graduate in ESO, School Graduate or equivalent, along with Spanish nationality or that of a European Union member state, and an age between 16 years and compulsory retirement.

  • Examination fees: 15 euros, payable via payment gateway or transfer to UNICAJA BANCO (ES68 2103 7412 2600 3000 4395).
  • Total fee exemption for people with a disability equal to or greater than 33 percent.
  • 75 percent discount for those who have been unemployed for at least one month prior to the announcement in the BOE.

A 90-question multiple-choice exercise and a merit competition

The competitive examination accounts for 75 percent of the score (7.5 points) and the merit competition for the remaining 25 percent (2.5 points). The single test consists of a theoretical-practical questionnaire of 90 questions plus 7 reserve questions, with four alternative answers and a maximum time of 115 minutes: 18 questions from the common section and 72 from the specific section, of which 52 are theoretical and 20 are practical.

Each correct answer is valued at 0.1112 points; every three incorrect answers subtract one correct answer, and every six blank answers subtract one correct answer; it is necessary to achieve 50 percent of the maximum score to pass the exercise. In the merit phase, the qualification (maximum 0.2 points), experience in Public Administrations (1.5 points, at a rate of 0.025 per month), and training (0.8 points) are valued. The call will also generate a temporary job pool consisting of those who achieve at least four points in the exercise.

Tribunal, venue, and means of appeal

The qualifying tribunal will have a presidency designated by the Presidency of the Corporation, three members—one designated by lottery among personnel from another Public Administration and two public employees of the Provincial Council or its autonomous bodies—and a secretariat with voice and vote. Its venue is established in the Personnel Area, in the Palacio Provincial, Plaza de Santa María s/n, Cáceres.

The order of appearance for the applicants will begin with the letter “Y”, according to the lottery published in the BOP on January 20, 2026. Claims against the questions may be submitted within three business days following the exercise, and against the call, a contentious-administrative appeal may be filed within two months or, optionally, a request for reversal before the Presidency within one month. The announcement appears signed by the secretary, Álvaro Casas Avilés, dated October 28, 2026.

With 21 positions, this is one of the largest public employment calls in the province of Cáceres and one of the few that reserves specific places for people with disabilities in subgroup C2. For the candidates, the calendar begins with the publication of the summary in the BOE: only then will the 20 business days to register and pay the fee begin, procedures that must be completed entirely electronically.
