Jasa definitively approves the fees for the pool, gym, and multipurpose room

The Jasa City Council has definitively approved the modification of tax ordinances number 6 and 10, which regulate respectively the fee for the provision of services in sports facilities and the fee for the temporary or sporadic use of the multipurpose municipal building. The agreement, signed by Mayor José María Miranda Val on September 3, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Huesca number 172, dated September 9, 2026, with reference BOPH-2026-172009.

The modification was initially approved by the plenary session of the Corporation on June 5, 2026. After the public exhibition period elapsed without any claims being filed, the agreement and the text of the ordinances were definitively approved in accordance with article 17.3 of Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of March 5, which approves the revised text of the Law regulating Local Treasuries. Pursuant to article 17.4 of the same text, the ordinances enter into force from the day of their publication.

Sports facility fees

Tax ordinance number 6 taxes the use of municipal swimming pools, the gym, and the paddle tennis court. The tax quotas are set as follows:

• Municipal pool: child entry, €2; adult entry, €3; child 10-day pass, €15; adult 10-day pass, €25; child season pass, €25; adult season pass, €50.
• Gym: entry, €2; 5-day pass, €7; 10-day pass, €10; monthly pass, €20.
• Paddle tennis court: entry, €10; racket rental, €2 per unit; rental of a can of 3 balls, €2.

In the pool, the child category corresponds to those born who, in the current year, reach an age between 5 and 14 years, both inclusive. On the paddle tennis court, matches will have a duration of one and a half hours and will consist of a minimum of two and a maximum of four players.

Use of the multipurpose building and other spaces

Tax ordinance number 10 regulates the temporary or sporadic use of municipal-owned buildings and premises, which may be used by individuals and associations for cultural, social, educational, training, recreational, professional, teleworking, coworking, or citizen participation activities. The multipurpose building, the barbecue area, the coworking space, and the library fall within its scope of application.

Daily quotas are established according to the space and material used:

• Multipurpose building (with four tables and eight benches): less than 4 hours, €20; more than 4 hours, €50.
• Barbecue: up to 15 people, €10; for every additional 15 people or fraction thereof, €5.
• Equipment: set of one table and two benches, €3; chair, €0.25; firewood cart (approximately 4 bags), €25; butane cylinder, €5; municipal staff for transport or assembly of furniture, €39.25/hour.
• Coworking: daily use, €5; weekly use, €20; monthly use, €60.

The payment of daily amounts, as well as the deposit, must be made before the date of use of the facilities or equipment.

User duties and exemptions

The ordinance establishes that users must make appropriate and responsible use of the facilities, respect the rules of operation and coexistence, report any incidents, keep the spaces in orderly and clean conditions, safeguard the keys or access systems, and be liable for damages caused by incorrect or negligent use. The authorization for use will be formalized in a resolution by the mayor, in accordance with article 21.1.q) of Law 7/1985, of April 2, Regulating the Bases of Local Regime, which may be delegated to the competent councilor.

Associations or entities whose registered office is located in the municipality and which request the assignment of the premises or furniture for the performance of public activities of interest are exempt from the payment of this fee. This measure provides a stable and transparent framework for the use of municipal facilities, benefiting both the residents of Jasa and the local associations that carry out their activities in the municipality.
