Collective agreement for the autonomous bodies of Cádiz registered and published

The Official Gazette of the Province of Cádiz number 169, dated September 2, 2026, publishes the resolution by which the Single Collective Agreement for Labor Personnel in the Service of the Autonomous Bodies of the City Council of Cádiz 2025-2028 is registered and its publication is ordered. The resolution, issued by the Territorial Delegation of the Ministry of Employment, Enterprise and Self-Employment of the Regional Government of Andalusia in Cádiz, corresponds to file 11/01/0181/2026 and was signed on August 12, 2026.

The text was submitted electronically to the Registry of Collective Labor Agreements and Accords on July 31, 2026, in accordance with article 90.2 and 3 of the Workers’ Statute. The resolution orders its registration in the corresponding registry and its publication in the provincial gazette, with notification sent to the negotiating commission.

Scope of Application and Validity

The agreement applies to employees under labor contracts of the autonomous bodies of the Most Excellent City Council of Cádiz, with a validity extending from January 1, 2025, to June 30, 2028. Senior management personnel are excluded from its scope.

  • Municipal Culture Foundation (FMC)
  • Municipal Sports Institute (IMD)

The agreement shall be considered automatically terminated three months before its expiration, and the parties commit to initiating the negotiation of a new text within a maximum period of thirty days from the termination.

Remuneration and Social Aid

The remuneration chapter regulates salary, triennials, extraordinary payments, and supplements for level, specific, professional career, night shift, and productivity, with amounts detailed in the 2025 salary table (Annex 4). The text also includes a wide catalog of social aid and compensations, most notably:

  • School aid: €241.69 (nursery, preschool, and primary), €320.98 (secondary, vocational training, BUP, and COU), and €415.74 (university).
  • Birth grant: €194.89.
  • Aid for disabled family member: €228.72.
  • Productivity supplement: €646.19 (20 years) and €1,216.44 (35 years).

Labor Regime and Professional Career

The agreement regulates working hours, permits, licenses, vacations, and teleworking, as well as public employment offers, personnel selection, and internal promotion, reserving at least twenty percent of positions for internal promotion. A horizontal professional career regulation with up to five paid levels is incorporated, along with an equality plan and protocols against sexual harassment, workplace harassment, and violence at work.

The monitoring and interpretation commission, with equal representation, shall handle the resolution of conflicts arising from the application of the text, and a negotiation table shall be established for matters common to the contractual staff of the bodies.

Relevance

The publication grants full legal efficacy to an agreement that regulates the working conditions of hundreds of employees of the municipal autonomous bodies of Cádiz, guaranteeing staff stability and a homogeneous remuneration and aid framework for the four affected entities. Its entry into force, with economic effects from January 1, 2025, represents a milestone in collective bargaining within the local public sector of Cádiz.
