The Official Gazette of the Province of Cádiz, number 165, dated August 27, 2026, publishes the resolution for the registration and publication of the collective agreement for the Holcim (España), S.A.U. cement plant, Jerez de la Frontera center, for the year 2026. The resolution, issued on August 7, 2026, by the territorial delegate of the Delegation of Employment, Enterprise, and Self-Employment, Daniel Sánchez Román, orders the registration of the text in the Registry of Collective Labor Agreements and Accords and its dissemination in the official gazette.

The agreement, reached between the workers’ representation and the company on July 1, 2026, was submitted electronically to the Registry of Agreements on July 6, 2026, under file 11/01/0159/2026. Its validity extends for one year, from January 1 to December 31, 2026, and affects the personnel of the Jerez de la Frontera workplace.

Salary increases linked to EBITDA

The agreement links salary increases to the company’s profitability, measured by the EBITDA of the cement activity perimeter at a national level. The scale establishes a fixed increase of 400 euros and a variable percentage based on the annual result:

  • EBITDA below 25 million: 0.00% increase.
  • EBITDA equal to or greater than 25 million: 0.50%.
  • EBITDA equal to or greater than 30, 35, and 40 million: 1.50%.
  • EBITDA equal to or greater than 55 million: 2.25%.
  • EBITDA equal to or greater than 60 million: 2.75%.

Additionally, a non-adjustable advance payment of 3% on the base is established, which will be settled or fully retained according to the final increase per table. The increase is applied to the fixed table salary, the ad personam bonus, and the special personal supplement, which becomes pensionable for the purposes of the pension plan.

Working day and conditions

An annual effective working day of 1,736 hours is established for the entire center’s collective, with the possibility that the company may opt for a single payment of 400 gross euros per year for the excess of 16 hours, resulting in a working day of 1,752 hours in 2026. The agreement also provides for continuous morning and afternoon schedules, reductions on designated days such as Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve, January 5, and Fair Week, and a summer schedule starting from the first Monday of July.

Social benefits

The text regulates a set of benefits for the staff, among which the following stand out:

  • Full-day travel allowances: 86.11 euros.
  • Social fund established with 4,567.15 euros.
  • Group life insurance: 40,132 euros for death, increased by 13,016 euros in case of accident, and 48,809 and 70,502 euros for absolute and total permanent disability, respectively.
  • Loan fund of up to 66,000 euros, with housing loans of a maximum of 12,000 euros over 4 years and other concepts of a maximum of 6,000 euros over 2 years.
  • Transport bonus of 550 gross euros per year as compensation for the elimination of the bus service.
  • Medical insurance with 100% coverage for the employee, their spouse, and children under 26 years of age.

The agreement also incorporates the equality plan of the company Holcim España S.A.U., a protocol for the prevention and treatment of harassment and non-discrimination on LGBTI grounds, and refers to the system of faults and sanctions of the State Agreement on Gap Coverage of the cement sector.

Publication in the official bulletin grants regulatory effectiveness to the agreement and makes it enforceable for the staff of the Jerez center, in a strategic sector for the province. Linking salary increases to the group’s profitability conditions the remunerative evolution of the workers to the company’s results, a model that will mark collective bargaining in the factory for the coming years.
