Infanta Sofía tenders the maintenance of its medication dispensing system

The “Infanta Sofía” University Hospital, under the Regional Ministry of Health of the Community of Madrid, has called for a comprehensive maintenance services contract for the automated system for the management, storage, and dispensing of medications. The call is published via the Resolution of August 19, 2026, from its Management Directorate, recorded in the Official Gazette of the Community of Madrid number 209, dated September 2, 2026 (page 119), with official reference (01/13.613/26).
The contract, processed by the center’s Administrative Procurement Unit, will be awarded through an open procedure and ordinary processing, with a plurality of criteria and a single lot. The announcement was sent to the Official Journal of the European Union on August 19, 2026.
Object and Budget
The service ensures the correct functioning of the automated system that manages, stores, and dispenses medications, a critical element for the hospital’s pharmaceutical safety. The execution period is 24 months, with the possibility of an additional 12-month extension.

Submission of Bids
Interested companies may submit their bids electronically through the Licit@ system on the Public Procurement Portal of the Community of Madrid, until September 28, 2026, at 11:59 PM. Variants are not permitted, and no provisional guarantee is required.
- Place of execution: Paseo de Europa, 34, 28702 San Sebastián de los Reyes (Madrid).
- Obligation to maintain the bid: 2 months from the opening of the economic proposals.
- Opening of bids: October 7, 2026, at 8:30 AM, via videoconference using Microsoft Teams.
- Advertising costs: borne by the successful bidder, with an estimated maximum of 2,000.00 euros.
The resolution is signed by the hospital’s Managing Director, Guillermo Ceñal Pérez, and the documentation can be obtained at the center itself or through the contractor’s profile.
