What voluntary dissolution implies

Voluntary dissolution is an agreement adopted by the company itself, without judicial intervention, which opens the liquidation phase. In this stage, the liquidator assumes the management of the corporate assets in order to:

  • Realize assets and collect outstanding credits.
  • Pay debts to creditors.
  • Distribute the remainder, if any, among the partners.
  • Extinguish the company once operations are concluded.

During this period, the creditors, employees, and partners of the Valencian company are affected by the process, which must be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the regulations for capital companies.
