Industry proposes 532,500 euros for 34 SMEs affected by the war
Por FactBox Admin

The Directorate General of Industry and Industrial Estates proposes to grant 532,500 euros to 34 freelancers and SMEs in the industrial sector of the Balearic Islands to compensate for the weight of fuels and the increase in the price of raw materials derived from the war in the Middle East. The provisional resolution proposal, signed on October 23, 2026, by the director general Alfons Gómez Rosselló, was published in the Official Gazette of the Balearic Islands (BOIB) no. 138 of October 29, 2026 (document 10810, page 59704). The text provides for full payment by bank transfer, once the expenditure is authorized and the obligation is recognized.
The grants derive from the call approved by the Resolution of the Minister of Enterprise, Freelancers and Energy of May 28, 2026, published in the BOIB no. 68 of May 30, 2026, and are financed from the budget item 19401 723AOM 47000 00 of the general budgets of the Autonomous Community for the year 2025, extended for 2026. The file is based on the favorable report from the head of the Technical Grants Service of October 21, 2026, which verified the fulfillment of the requirements by all files.
The proposal is part of a line that has already had a definitive resolution: the BOIB no. 125 of October 3, 2026, published the minister’s resolution with 248 beneficiaries and 3,390,748.98 euros. On the same October 29, the gazette published another provisional proposal for the compensation line for the cost of export transport, with 7 beneficiaries and 92,600 euros.
34 files and amounts between 1,000 and 22,500 euros
The list attached to the proposal includes 34 files, identified with the code MACO, with granted amounts ranging from 1,000 to 22,500 euros. The highest amounts are concentrated in industrial activities and technical services:
- KELKO QUIMICA SL (MACO-4/2026), first file on the list, with 20,000 euros.
- IDOSOL RENOVABLES SOCIEDAD LIMITADA SL (MACO-111/2026), EMBOTITS RAIMA, SL (MACO-121/2026), CASTRUM ILLA SLU (MACO-155/2026) and ALAN FREED, SL (MACO-206/2026), with 22,500 euros each.
- BARBERCOLL GROUP SOCIEDAD LIMITADA (MACO-95/2026), with 22,000 euros; FUSTERIA MANUEL ROMERO SLU (MACO-107/2026), with 21,500 euros.
- PAVIMENTOS Y HORMIGONES CARRERAS SA (MACO-132/2026), NADAL MOBILIARI 2001 SL (MACO-162/2026), POSTREHOTEL SLU (MACO-178/2026) and NOVALLEVANT GRUP MANACOR SL (MACO-201/2026), with 20,000 euros.
- DAIGO MALLORCA BUSINESS (MACO-186/2026) and FORNES VERGER SL (MACO-258/2026), with 1,000 euros, are the smallest grants; the last file is GABRIEL ESTEVA AMENGUAL (MACO-305/2026), with 15,000 euros.
Various files have seen their subsidy reduced relative to the requested amount because the application included vehicles that did not meet the condition required by the third section, point 3 c) of the call. This is the case, for example, for ORGASEL 2000 SL (17,000 euros requested and 16,000 granted) or ELECTRICA LLUM SA POBLA SL (14,000 requested and 12,000 granted).
Immediate advance payment and justification until February 1, 2027
The calendar established by the proposal is as follows:
- Investments must be invoiced and paid between February 28, 2026, and December 31, 2026, both inclusive.
- The deadline to justify the activity and payment ends on February 1, 2027, or the date established by the granting resolution if it is later.
- The justification must be submitted electronically through the procedure enabled at the Electronic Office of the Administration of the Autonomous Community.
- Interested parties may submit any allegations they deem appropriate within a maximum period of ten business days from the day following publication; if they do not do so, it is understood that they accept the content of the proposal.
De minimis aid and obligations of the beneficiaries
The grants are awarded under the de minimis rule, meaning that no company can receive more than 300,000 euros over three years, in accordance with Article 3 of Regulation (EU) No. 1407/2013 as amended by Regulation (EU) 2023/2831. Technical services have verified that the beneficiaries possess the corresponding economic activities tax, are up to date with their obligations to Social Security and the state and regional tax administrations, and meet the selection criteria of the ninth point of the call.
The legal framework includes Law 4/2017, of July 12, on industry of the Balearic Islands, Legislative Decree 2/2005, of December 28, approving the Revised Text of the Subsidies Law, Decree 75/2004, of August 27, and the Order of regulatory bases for subsidies in industrial matters. Any alteration of the conditions or concurrence with other public aid may lead to the review of the grant and reimbursement with late-payment interest. Furthermore, once the application period has closed, the amount cannot be increased nor the initial investments modified.
The publication provides visibility to a second round of the aid line for the war, with average amounts exceeding 15,000 euros per file and advance payment as a formula so that Balearic industrial SMEs can assume current expenses for fuels and raw materials without waiting for the final settlement.
