Por FactBox Admin

The Mayor’s Office-Presidency of the Huesca City Council has resolved the call for grants for cultural activities carried out by cultural associations for the 2026 fiscal year, granting a total of 49,974.93 euros to 18 entities in the city. The resolution, adopted by Decree No. 4805/2026 of August 14, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Huesca number 159, of August 21, 2026 (official reference: BOPH-2026-159010).
The call was approved by Mayoral Decree 1682/2026, of March 24, an extract of which was published in BOPH No. 58 of March 26, 2026, under the general ordinance regulating the granting of subsidies approved by the Plenary on February 24, 2016. The resolution is signed by the mayor, Lorena Orduna Pons, dated August 19, 2026.
Credit and beneficiaries
The credit is allocated from the budget item “04 33003 48000 Culture. Other transfers”, for the amount of 49,974.93 euros. The total amount requested by the entities amounted to 65,120.81 euros, therefore the amount granted is adjusted to the limit of the available credit and the score obtained by each project, with no application remaining on the waiting list.
Among the beneficiaries are, among others:
- AFAMMER Altoaragón (€441.00)
- Agrupación Folklórica Santa Cecilia (€4,368.00)
- Asociación Cultural Grupo Andante (€4,800.00)
- Asociación Oscense Pan y Rosas (€5,723.00)
- Asociación Provincial de Librerías (€2,175.00)
- FACEMA, Federación de Amypas de Conservatorios y Escuelas de Música del Altoaragón (€4,819.44)
- Sociedad Oscense de Conciertos (€3,187.65)
- Consello d’a Fabla Aragonesa (€3,120.00)
Justification and documentation
The deadline for the justification of the grants ends on November 16, 2026. Entities must submit the justification form through the municipal website www.huesca.es, along with the detailed final report, the numbered list of supporting documents, and the vouchers for expenses and payments, as well as the responsible declaration of other income or grants obtained for the same purpose.
Electronic invoices will be accepted as a means of justification, and cash payments for amounts exceeding 300 euros will not be admitted as proof of payment. The payment of the grants is subject to the corresponding justification, in accordance with Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Law on Subsidies.
Denials and appeals
Two applications have not been proposed as beneficiaries: the Asociación de Vecinos del Barrio María Auxiliadora, due to non-compliance with the eighth clause of the call, and the Asociación San Francisco de Sales de Hipoacúsicos, due to non-compliance with the third clause. Against this resolution, which exhausts administrative remedies, an optional appeal for reversal may be filed within one month, or a contentious-administrative appeal may be filed before the Juzgado de lo Contencioso-Administrativo de Huesca within two months.
The resolution is published in the Boletín Oficial de la Provincia de Huesca, in the Base de Datos Nacional de Subvenciones, and on the City Council’s electronic office. The call, which leaves no applications on the waiting list as the credit was sufficient, strengthens the city’s cultural associative fabric—from film screenings and book fairs to concerts and magazines of Aragonese tradition—and provides certainty to dozens of entities and their audiences regarding next year’s programming.
