Hellín approves its 2026 Public Employment Offer with 25 positions

The Hellín City Council has approved its Public Employment Offer for the 2026 fiscal year, with a total of 25 positions aimed at applicants from the region. The decision was adopted through resolution number 2884, dated August 25, 2026, by the Delegated Department of Personnel, and published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Albacete number 102, dated September 2, 2026, page 44.

The offer is structured into three blocks: 12 open-access positions, 12 for internal promotion, and 1 reserved for the intellectual disability quota. The agreement also provides for the preparation and processing of the corresponding public calls, which will be published successively.

Open-access positions

The open-access shift concentrates the majority of the new hires, with a total of 12 positions via the competitive examination system:

• 6 positions for Early Childhood Educator (labor contract, subgroup C1).
• 1 position for Administrative Manager (civil servant, subgroup C2).
• 1 position for Technical Architect (civil servant, subgroup A2).
• 1 position for Industrial Technical Engineer (civil servant, subgroup A2).
• 1 position for Economic Affairs Technician (civil servant, subgroup A2).
• 1 position for Janitor (labor contract, subgroup OAP).
• 1 position for Sociocultural Monitor (labor contract, subgroup C2).

Internal promotion positions

The internal promotion shift adds another 12 positions, with a significant emphasis on the Hellín School of Music, which accounts for 11 of the posts via the merit-and-examination system:

• 10 positions for School of Music Teacher (labor contract, subgroup A1).
• 1 position for School of Music Coordinator (labor contract, subgroup A1).
• 1 position for Administrative Manager (civil servant, subgroup C1).

Intellectual disability quota

The third block reserves 1 position for the intellectual disability quota, corresponding to a Janitor post (labor contract, subgroup OAP), also via the competitive examination system. With this reservation, the Hellín City Council complies with the legal employment quota for people with disabilities within its workforce.

The offer is part of the municipal personnel policy initiated with the Mayoral resolution number 2167, dated July 19, 2024, published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Albacete number 88, dated July 31, 2024. The agreement is signed by the Delegated Councilor for Personnel, Pedro Rafael García Sequero.

The publication of this offer opens a horizon of job stability for applicants in the region, who will be able to apply for stable positions in the local administration of Hellín. The call for the selection tests, which will be announced in upcoming bulletins, will determine the application deadlines and the examination schedule for each of the 25 offered positions.
