GVA awards €125,000 for equality plans in 56 Valencian SMEs

The First Vice Presidency and Department of Housing, Employment, Youth and Equality of the Generalitat has published the resolution of 12 August 2026 granting subsidies aimed at promoting the preparation and implementation of equality plans in Valencian companies with a workforce of between 10 and 49 workers, for the 2026 financial year. The administrative act appears in the DOGV of 18 August 2026, section III (Administrative Acts), subsection B (Subsidies and Grants), with the official reference 2026-27041.

The resolution was signed by Davinia Bono Pozuelo, Director General for Equality and of the Women’s Institute, by delegation of the competent councillor. The total amount of subsidies granted amounts to 125,000 euros, charged to budget item G01140401.323A00.4, grant line S1747 of the programme for the preparation and implementation of equal opportunities plans.

Regulatory framework and call for applications

The regulatory bases were approved by Resolution of 8 September 2025 of the former First Vice Presidency and Department of Social Services, Equality and Housing (DOGV 10192, of 11.09.2025). Subsequently, the call for the 2026 financial year was published by Resolution of 17 March 2026 (DOGV 10331, of 27.03.2026), under a simple competitive concurrence regime.

The award was made following an order of priority determined by the date of submission of the application, provided that it met all the requirements and the required documentation, until the allocated budget allocation was exhausted. The evaluation committee met on 22 July 2026 to submit its proposal for a resolution.

Fifty-six beneficiary entities

According to Annex IV of the resolution, 56 entities receive the subsidy. The most frequent amount is 3,000 euros per beneficiary. One of the last entities on the list, EU Local Affaris Sociedad Limitada, obtained only 266.23 euros, an amount corresponding to the remaining budget credit after applying the order of priority, which evidences the full exhaustion of the available credit.

The beneficiary entities cover very diverse sectors: hospitality, technology, industry, associations of people with disabilities, agricultural cooperatives, rural development centres, music education, cleaning services, security, energy, publishing, textile trade and healthcare, among others. Among them, the following stand out:

• 226ers Sports Things, SL — sports company from Alicante
• Proyectos Amaltea, SL — charitable company from Castellón
• Grupo Hostelero Los Serrano, SL — hospitality in Valencia
• Cooperativa Agrícola La Divina Pastora de Jérica — agricultural cooperative from Castellón
• Asociación de Personas con Discapacidad COCEMFE — inclusive association
• Invernaderos y Tecnología, SAU — intensive agricultural sector
• Chocolates Marcos Tonda, SL — food industry from Alicante

Refusals due to insufficient credit and other reasons

In addition to the 56 grants, the resolution includes three annexes with applications that were not successful. Annex I lists applications that were rejected, not admitted, or withdrawn, such as those from Rototom or Fundación Acció Cultural del País Valencià, the latter rejected for having been subsidised under the PIOEMP 2025 call for the same purpose.

Annex II lists 18 applications refused due to insufficient budget credit, including CEEM Olacau, SL, Agrocubi 2024, SL, Distribución Eléctrica Crevillent, SL and Cáritas Interparroquial de Gandía. Annex III includes applications rejected by application of the concept of “single undertaking” provided for in Article 2.2 of Regulation (EU) 2023/2831, such as Tyris Tech, SL and Tyris AI, SL.

Obligations and deadlines

The grants are de minimis aid and are governed by Commission Regulation (EU) 2023/2831 of 13 December 2023. The beneficiary entities must:

• Carry out the subsidised activity and submit the justification through the Generalitat’s electronic office no later than 30 November 2026.
• Give publicity to the aid received, indicating the granting entity, the amount received and the subsidised programme.
• Comply with the obligations of transparency, separate accounting and document retention.

Payment will be made by bank transfer once the activity has been fully carried out and justified. Failure to meet the deadline may lead to the aid being revoked and the amounts received being repaid.
