Guadalajara convoca por oposición libre dos plazas de auxiliar de servicios deportivos

The Guadalajara City Council announces selective tests via open competition to fill two positions for sports services assistant, under a permanent labor staff regime and classified in group AAPP. The call is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara, number 188, Friday, October 2, 2026, and stems from the Decree of September 30, 2026, which approves the rules governing the process.

Two positions originating from two employment offers

The two vacancies are not new: one was approved in the public employment offer for the 2025 fiscal year (BOP of Guadalajara, no. 109, Monday, June 9, 2025) and the other in the offer for the 2026 fiscal year (BOP of Guadalajara, no. 57, Tuesday, March 24, 2026). Additionally, any vacancies approved in a Public Employment Offer before the end of the selection process will be added, as stated in rule 1.1.

The applicable legal framework combines Royal Legislative Decree 5/2015, of October 30, of the Basic Statute of the Public Employee; Law 4/2011, of March 10, on Public Employment of Castilla-La Mancha; Royal Decree 364/1995, of March 10, and Royal Decree 2271/2004, of December 3, regarding access to public employment for people with disabilities, along with Organic Law 3/2007 for the effective equality of women and men and the municipal Equality Plan.

Requirements, deadline, and examination fee

Applicants must meet the required criteria on the day the application submission period ends and maintain them throughout the process:

  • Spanish nationality, without prejudice to the provisions of article 39 of Law 4/2011.
  • Be at least sixteen years of age and not exceed the compulsory retirement age.
  • Be in possession of, or in a position to obtain, the Schooling Certificate.
  • Not be disqualified or separated from the service of any Public Administration.
  • Possess the functional capacity for the performance of the position and not incur any cause of incompatibility under Law 53/1984.

Applications shall be submitted exclusively on the website https://guadalajara.convoca.online/, within twenty business days starting from the day following the publication of the call in the Official State Gazette. The examination fee is 12.00 euros, with a 50% discount for those who prove more than six months of unemployment, reducing the amount to 6.00 euros. Applicants with a degree of disability equal to or greater than 33% may request adaptations in time and means.

Two eliminatory exercises and job bank

The selection system is an open competition, with two mandatory and eliminatory tests:

  • First exercise: a multiple-choice questionnaire of eighty questions plus four reserve questions, with four alternative answers, in a maximum of ninety minutes.
  • Second exercise: a practical case of thirty questions plus three reserve questions, in thirty minutes, regarding the municipal street map, location of sports facilities, public service, administrative support, and basic office automation.

Each exercise is graded from zero to ten points, and the final score results from the sum of both. The order of appearance will begin with candidates whose first surname starts with the letter “Q”, in accordance with the Resolution of 11/26/2025 of the General Directorate of the Public Service. The Qualifying Board will be presided over by the person designated by the Mayor’s Office, with a secretary from subgroup A1 and four members, one of whom is proposed by the Department of Public Administrations of the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha. Once the process is completed, a job pool will be formed with those who have passed at least one exercise without obtaining a position.

Relevance

The call opens a stable access route to the municipal sports service and reinforces the workforce of the Guadalajara City Council with two permanent positions for direct assistance at sports facilities. Interested parties must strictly monitor deadlines, as late submission or untimely payment of the fee will lead to automatic exclusion. The resolution, signed by the Delegated Councilor for Human Resources, Ms. Isabel Nogueroles Viñes, is final in the administrative route and allows for a motion for reconsideration within one month or a contentious-administrative appeal within two months.
