The Granada City Council has announced the Scholarships for Student Mothers for the 2026-2027 academic year, providing 650 euros per beneficiary in a single payment. The call was approved by agreement no. 2026/000705 of the Local Government Board on September 11, 2026, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Granada no. 189, dated September 30, 2026, with a application submission period of 15 business days.
Bases and regulatory framework
The grants are governed by the bases approved by agreement of the Plenary on July 31, 2026, no. 2026000284, and by the General Regulatory Ordinance for the Granting of Subsidies of May 4, 2021, published in BOP no. 83. The initiative corresponds to the Department of Education, Employment and Equality and is granted on a competitive basis, charged to the budgets of said Department and limited to existing budgetary availability.
The summary of the call is published in accordance with articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of the General Subsidies Law 38/2003, of November 17, and the full text can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (identifier 931783). The bases are signed by Encarnación González Fernández, delegated councilor for Education, Employment and Equality, in Granada on September 28, 2026.

The evaluation committee will be chaired by the delegated councilwoman for Education, Employment, and Equality and composed of the Head of the Equality Service, a representative of the Municipal Women’s Council, and an equality agent, who will serve as secretary.
The call arrives with the course already started and with the deadline running from the day following publication, meaning that interested parties have about three weeks to gather the enrollment, the census certificate, and the income documentation.
