Granada convoca 155.843 euros en subvenciones para entidades sociales de la capital

The Granada City Council has announced 155,843.30 euros in grants for non-profit associations and social entities in the capital, intended for projects on active aging, social inclusion, disability, and addiction prevention. The call is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Granada (Boletín Oficial de la Provincia de Granada) no. 191, dated October 2, 2026, via an extract of the Mayor’s Resolution of September 29, 2026 (official reference BOP-GRA-2026-191014). Interested entities will have 10 business days to submit their applications and may obtain up to 8,500 euros per project.

The call corresponds to the Department of Social Policy, Family, Disability, and the Elderly and is processed under a competitive bidding system for the 2026 fiscal year, with identification number 932576 in the National Grants Database (BDNS). The extract is published under articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of the General Grants Law 38/2003, of November 17, and the full text can be consulted in the BDNS.

The regulatory framework is the General Grants Ordinance of the Granada City Council, published in the BOP no. 83, of May 4, 2021. The call is structured into four areas of action corresponding to Lines 4, 7, and 9 of the Strategic Grants Plan, and each entity may apply with a single project in a single area.

Budget distribution by lines of action

  • Social inclusion projects for vulnerable people or groups with special difficulties (Line 7): 60,843.30 euros.
  • Projects aimed at the collective of people with disabilities (Line 7): 57,000.00 euros.
  • Active aging projects for the elderly (Line 4): 30,000.00 euros.
  • Prevention projects for substance and non-substance addictions (Line 9): 8,000.00 euros.

The individualized amount will be determined based on the score obtained according to the evaluation criteria, and in no case may it exceed the requested amount or the cost of duly justified expenses. If, after the evaluation of the applications, budget remains available in an area because technical requirements were not met, the balance may be allocated to the highest-scoring projects that best align with the objectives of the call.

Requirements and submission deadline

Non-profit associations and social entities with municipal implementation that have a registered office, permanent delegation, or operational branch in the municipality of Granada for at least one year prior to the application deadline may apply. They must be legally constituted and registered in the National Registry of Associations and/or the Regional Registry of Associations of the Community of Andalusia, as well as in the Municipal Census of Citizen Entities of the Granada City Council, with at least one year of seniority.

Applications shall be submitted electronically through the electronic office of the Granada City Council, signed by the person holding the legal representation of the entity, according to the Department’s model 1. The submission period is 10 business days starting from the day following the publication of the summary in the BOP. Forms can be obtained on the municipal website www.granada.org.

Eligible expenses and payment method

Expenses directly resulting from the development and execution of the programs, with invoices dated within the execution period, shall be eligible for subsidies:

  • Equipment and non-inventoriable material destined for the activities.
  • Service provision by companies and independent professionals, with a limit of 50%.
  • Personnel remuneration derived directly from the programs.
  • Unpaid voluntary work, with a limit of 20% of the total cost.
  • Other non-inventoriable goods.

Up to 10% may be allocated to indirect costs, and the subsidy may not exceed 70% of the total project cost, with the remaining 30% to be covered by the applying entity using its own resources. Payment will be made in two phases: an initial advance of 70% of the amount granted, once the aid has been awarded and subject to the availability of the Municipal Treasury, and a second payment of the remaining 30% after the justification of the entire project has been approved.

The call mobilizes slightly over 155,000 euros for the associative fabric of the capital within a context of care for the elderly, people with disabilities, and groups at risk of exclusion. The distribution by lines and the limit of 8,500 euros per application condition the scope of the programs that may be executed during the 2026 financial year.
