Extremadura publica las tablas retributivas del personal con el 1,5 % de 2026

The General Directorate of Public Service of the Regional Government of Extremadura has publicized the salary scales for personnel within the scope of the General Administration, which include the salary increases approved for the 2026 fiscal year and the new supplements for on-call duties. The announcement, signed by the general director Hugo Alfonso Curiel Rodríguez, is published in the Official Gazette of Extremadura (DOE) no. 210, dated October 30, 2026, in section IV of announcements, with the official reference 2026081846.

The framework: 2026 Budgets and the Government Council agreement

The announcement is based on Law 2/2026, of August 3, on the General Budgets of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura for 2026, whose article 14.1, within title II and chapter I, authorized an increase in the total remuneration of the personnel of the Assembly of Extremadura, the Administration of the Autonomous Community, and its autonomous bodies, university, and other entities, under the terms permitted by the State regarding the levels approved for 2025.

The sixth final provision of that same law empowers the Government Council to adapt the salary scales and authorizes the person responsible for remuneration policy and payroll in each area to approve and publish in the DOE the scales affecting their personnel. In application of that empowerment, the Government Council agreed on December 16, 2025, to apply the global increases provided for in Royal Decree-Law 14/2025, of December 2:

  • 2.5% for the 2025 fiscal year.
  • 1.5% for the 2026 fiscal year.

That increase was already incorporated into the updated scales through the Resolution of the General Director of Public Service of January 11, 2026, published in DOE no. 10 and disseminated on the Public Employee Portal on January 16, which were in effect as of the date of the announcement.

On-call duties: two new concepts in the civil servant scales

The update also includes the singular component created by Decree 143/2025, of October 27, which entered into force on November 4, 2025, and is added to the specific supplement for civil servant positions that involve performing on-call duties to guarantee the provision of two services:

  • Civil Protection Service of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura.
  • Forest Fire Prevention and Extinction Service of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura.

For this reason, section 7 of the salary scales for civil servants incorporates two new acronyms: GLPC (Civil Protection on-call) and GLSI (Fire Service on-call), effective from November 4, 2025.

Labor personnel agreement and public consultation of the scales

The tables also include the new remuneration approved by the modification agreement of Article 7, section A) of Annex IV and Annex V of the 5th Collective Agreement of the labor personnel in the service of the Junta de Extremadura, effective as of June 1, 2025, adopted within the Negotiating Commission of the labor personnel in the session held on June 17, 2025.

The agreement of the Directorate General is issued in accordance with the sixth final provision of the budget law and Article 5 of Decree 4/1990, of January 23, on the attribution of competencies regarding personnel, and orders the publication of the tables approved by resolution of that management center. The tables remain available on the Public Employee Portal (portalempleado.gobex.es).

The same issue of the DOE published the Resolution of October 26, 2026, of the Directorate General of Public Service (2026062739), which delegates to the general secretariats of the departments the recognition of certain special specific supplements for labor personnel and the new singular components.

The update has a direct effect on the payroll calculation of the personnel of the Extremaduran General Administration, which sees consolidated in the current tables both the 1.5% increase for 2026 and the remuneration concepts derived from on-call duties, such that the amounts applied in each professional group, category, and specialty are fixed in a public document consultable by employees.
