Extremadura denies establishment grants to six young farmers

The Regional Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Natural Environment of the Junta de Extremadura has published the list of six holders who are being notified of the resolution dismissing their application for aid for the establishment of young farmers. The announcement, signed on September 15, 2026, and disseminated in the Official Gazette of Extremadura (DOE) number 183, dated September 22, 2026, grants those affected one month to file an administrative appeal (recurso de alzada). The dismissing resolution comes from the Director General of Common Agricultural Policy.
The framework for the call is Decree 169/2024, of December 30 (DOE number 13, of January 21, 2025), which establishes the regulatory bases and application rules for the aid regime for the establishment of young farmers and for investments in the modernization and/or improvement of agricultural holdings carried out by young farmers in the Autonomous Community of Extremadura, and launches the first call for both aids.
Article 24 of the aforementioned decree allows any notification or communication from the competent bodies of the Regional Ministry to be carried out through the publication of an announcement in the DOE, which indicates the place and means by which the list of affected interested parties and the act in question are displayed. In this case, the individual resolution can be consulted through the notification processed on the LABOREO platform.
The six applicants with dismissing resolutions
The annex of the announcement, with official reference 2026081544, contains the list of holders, identified by partially hidden CIF/NIF:

The document was signed in Mérida on September 15, 2026, by ANTONIO JESÚS PI PÉREZ, Head of the Structural Aid Service, following the prior study, verification, and assessment of the applications submitted.
One month for the administrative appeal
Against the resolution, which does not end the administrative route, an administrative appeal (recurso de alzada) may be filed within one month starting from the day following the notification. The appeal is addressed:
- To the holder of the Regional Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Natural Environment, or
- To the holder of the Directorate General of Common Agricultural Policy.
This procedure is based on articles 101.3 and 101.4 of Law 1/2002, of February 28, of the Government and Administration of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura, in connection with articles 121 and 122 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations. The document is submitted through the ARADO platform, provided that a digital certificate or electronic ID (DNIe) is available.
More resolutions from the same call
The same DOE number 183 includes other announcements linked to Decree 169/2024. The list of holders with a resolution of inadmissibility of the establishment application is published, affecting PAZ SIMON, ANA ISABEL (reference 2026081548), with an identical one-month deadline for the administrative appeal (recurso de alzada).
Hearing procedures are also notified due to non-compliance with some of the requirements to achieve beneficiary status, with a non-extendable deadline of 10 business days to submit allegations: two for establishment applications (references 2026081547 and 2026081549) and one for applications for modernization and/or improvement of holdings (reference 2026081546).
The publication affects Extremaduran farmers who, at this stage of the procedure, lose the subsidy intended to facilitate their incorporation into the agricultural sector. The official announcement is the formal means of notification; therefore, those appearing in the published lists must consult their file in LABOREO and, if applicable, submit allegations or an appeal within the indicated deadlines to avoid permanently losing the aid.
