Extremadura grants ten business days to rectify incomplete SIGPAC appeals
Por FactBox Admin

The Regional Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Natural Environment of the Junta de Extremadura has opened a period of ten business days for holders with incomplete appeals regarding the SIGPAC for the 2026 campaign to rectify the missing documentation. The Announcement of September 10, 2026, published in the Official Gazette of Extremadura (DOE) No. 181, on September 18, 2026, with reference 2026081527, warns that anyone who does not complete their file will be considered to have withdrawn their application.
The procedure is activated once the appeal period for the 2026 SIGPAC is closed, as established in section 9 of the Resolution of January 30, 2026, from the General Directorate of Community Agricultural Policy (DOE No. 23, of February 4, 2026). That resolution establishes the rules for the maintenance and updating of the system and its use as a management instrument for the integrated management and control system and other area-linked aid schemes within the framework of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP).
The Regional Ministry notes that there are appeal letters to which the required documentation was not attached and applies Article 68 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations. The announcement corresponds to the second batch of files with documentary incidents and was signed in Mérida on September 10, 2026, by Vicente Cruz Galeano, Head of the Sectoral Aid Service.
Ten business days to complete the file
The granted period is ten business days and is counted from the day following the publication of the announcement, that is, from September 19, 2026. Interested parties must provide all the documentation requested along with their appeals.
- Personalized notifications of incidents: SGA Citizen Portal (https://sga.juntaex.es/SgaGpi), using main keys, electronic certificate, or electronic ID (DNIe).
- Submission of documentation: Documentary Review repository enabled at https://sga.juntaex.es/SgaGpi/gas/revisionDocumentalGas.action?pF=0
Withdrawal if not rectified
Failure to provide all the indicated documentation within the specified period will mean that the applicant is deemed to have withdrawn their application. The Administration will then issue the resolution that ends the procedure, in accordance with the provisions of Article 68.1 of Law 39/2015.
List of affected files
The announcement includes an annex with the list of files affected by the documentary review process, identified by their number, from 1008000014 to 1008007008. This is the second batch of files with incomplete appeals to the 2026 SIGPAC.
The SIGPAC is the reference upon which declared areas are calculated and, consequently, the CAP subsidies received by Extremaduran farmers. Letting the deadline pass without completing the documentation not only closes the appeal file but also leaves the area data uncorrected, with the risk that this poses to the amount of the campaign subsidies.
